Ran for half an hour, but it’s so humid and my heart rate was around +10bpm so I called it and had a pleasant 3/4hr walk back instead.

10km after work. Actually 11. Love the heat but the problem is I’m old and feeling unfit and it felt way harder than 5m30kms have any right to. In our defence, we were tslking the whole way round.

Raced Beelzebub down the hill into town this evening

edit: my companion tonight was M75-79 hence the rather relaxed average speed. Also we stopped at the pub for 22m01s for a pint and a pee.

9.5 km easy flat run this morning. Warm and humid but comfortable enough.

Cannot stop sweating now I’ve stopped though! Going to take a while to get the body temp right down. I’m always like this in the summer.

Resting HR +8 and HRV almost half normal range… absolutely shattered.

150km on a school night! Annual charity ride for Motor Neurone Disease organised by a local club always gets a good turnout.

I went swimming. Managed about 12 minutes in the sea - primarily to cool off from this lovely weather. First swim this year. I swam once last year and nothing the year before that. I don’t think it’s a comeback to tri, yet.

Driving as it is subjectively easier as I don’t have to dismantle my bike, can take all my own food.
