Luckily I was meeting friends, so it forced me out. Think I’d have bailed otherwise.
Cocked up my garmin, so not sure how far I rode yet. I’ve got the file to my friend’s house. Then they’re gonna send me a file for the ride we did together, then another one home. Totally user error forgetting to start the garmin!
Was OK at spinning on the flats and stuff, but was abso-bloody-lutely empty on the climbs. I was deffo the one man grupetto! Hammering the descents to get back on.
Weirdly the last hour felt better than the 3 or so before it. Though looking down at my calves right now, I think they’re trying to send me a message in morse code. Twitching like crazy!
97.2km in total. Had I not messed my garmin I’d have been tempted to do the other 3km for sure!
Training peaks has pretty much the same tss for my easy (with a few hills) 4 hr ride as my run yesterday!

You definitely get more credit for duration over intensity in all of these calculations. Best way to get the scores up is to forget to stop your watch at the end of a run/ride and get credit for 2 hours sat in a chair.
Do you have the garmin “number of hours to recover” score for them both?
(just as that is based on HRV at the end of the effort, not just the training peaks crap which indicates your FTP is wrong btw)

Went to the gym tonight deadlift 100kg, which is heaviest since lockdown eased. But went with my daughter (aged 12) for 1sr time
Yeah, I’m so weak my daughter can spot me in the gym too, good that we can admit it hey!
