Nope, I just go out and run, that’s all I’ve done for years now.
Less non running of course in each of those years also impacts the fitness.

No tally for me, I didn’t know any of the data at all until I loaded a few years worth of data into goldencheetah.
I have everything in TP autoupdated. Its easy now as fenix/edge just talk to phone. I have coach account anyway. I still keep updated a spreadsheet, well 2, @AndyS passed me one, must be 2007 and I still keep a new one for each year. I’ve since linked to another so I can quickly see annual totals over the years also.
A rest week this week. Coinciding with being the at-work stooge between Xmas and new year, plus wife’s birthday (she said I could go to the pool; I decided it was a test and came straight home after work instead ).
Did manage 40.01 km outdoors on Saturday. Far too cold. Including some time on spinbike I managed 120km for week and sod all else.
Also managed to pull a muscle (guess:external oblique) playing pool tag in an otherwise empty kids pool at the weekend. That makes me feel very old. And not a little bit sad, that probably my most strenuous effort of the year was trying to sprint my way clear of a 10 year old who was “it.” . Onwards and downwards, I guess.
Only recording the run distance - 2528km for 2021
7km done on the treadmill.
344 active days for me this year. Shows how slow it’s been…
358 active days
674 activities
105 swims / 106 hours / 396km
294 bikes (287 indoors) / 277 hours / 5777 miles
274 runs (few warm ups / cool downs in there) / 207 hours / 1661mles
8.5km on the C2 this morning
2km warmup
3 x 1500m consisting of 250s over and under (5 secs average between each set at target pace)
2km warm down
Proper programme !!
Sounds awful
Well done
actually I found it quite comfortable so I suspect my target times given to me by the coach were a bit on the soft side, or maybe training to date is starting to kick in!
next sesh is 4 x 3km sets with consistency of pace and stroke across all 4. including warm up/down then we’re going to be on a 15km row. oh my poor arse!.
I found my old Lusso cycling shorts best for long rows.
The padding was too thick to run in but maybe not as much material as some brands like assos.
Looking back at my complex training package ( it’s a book ) I think I’ve gone far too hard far too soon with rowing … no wonder I got injured.
Being sensible I should never look at a concept 2,again, I don’t need one to achieve what I’d like this year, but the very concept of rowing still excites me.
Good luck with your plan
strangely I haven’t found much difference between padded and unpadded shorts. the pad on my tri/bike shorts isn’t wide enough to cover my sit bones so is therefore not effective, so I’ve taken to rowing in unpadded ones which are also more comfy.
our C2 is an old Model C (over 20 years old according to serial number) so we’ve decided to upgrade and we’re on the waiting list for a new Model D. the list was about 4 months long when we went on it, but that’s gradually coming down now.
Didn’t get my hard 5km in but did run 6km with Little One and she PB’d!
40.47 at 6.47 pace
Stick it in the calculator … she will probably beat us all!
Age-grading: 57.72%
Your time of 40:48 for 6 kilometres as a 7 year old female yields an age-grading percentage of 57.72%
First sesh of the year ticked off. Hard-ish effort up the Alpe. Aiming to get the Tron bike before the end of January.
Another Alpe climb this morning. 9 more to go for the Tron bike.
Quick Everesting tomorrow and you’ll be done
One hour all over body circuit, watching Lionel and the Garcia / Campbell weigh in.
One hour turbo av hr 147, but interval ish efforts, this is what I didn’t do last year max hr was 183 so full gas.
Did exactly the same yesterday.
Didn’t need the fan but fan no top on from the start!
I’m basking in my 5km effort and using the mtb suspension setting contortions as a core workout.
