Good call, I’ll see what they say. It’s not the end of the world, my concern is that the more recent machines they’ve been handing out are of a lower spec than this one I got >3 years ago, and I’d rather have something that’s always plugged in and does the job than something new that hangs all the time.
Feels like a problem for Future Iain to worry about. That guy’s going to hate Present Iain when his machine is completely FUBAR!
I don’t but I do have an old tower gaming PC that I bought from a friend who was moving to the US and didn’t want to ship it. I never got around to doing anything with it, so maybe that’ll be the answer.
replaceable battery? Not been in mac’s in what 8 years? And not in Dell, Thinkpad, HP for quite a few, you must be handing out some old kit!
(personally I “BYOD” so I get to use a nice X230 rather than dealing with that old shit.
Yeah i went for yoga!! It was dark, howling with wind and chucking it down, so i did a double yoga session instead. Really needed that actually as my back has been complaining again due to poor office setup.
Went to do a TR over-under session and just about got through the warm up, before realising it wasn’t going to happen. Ended up doing a 70 minute spin on Zwift.
2km warm up and then a 7 x 1km pyramid with 2mins active row between each 1km. each km was 2 secs quicker per 500m than the previous until #4 and then back down. felt good!
Dunno where to stick this but it doesn’t warrant its own thread…
Treadmill running… Why am I finding it so hard??
Ok so my running isn’t great at the minute. Squeaked a sub 20 at new year…10k in sub 43 last week.
Get on treadmill…5k in 23 mins and heart rate bouncing off max… couldn’t go on., Plan was for 10k.
Proper warm up. 3 fans on. Had a rest day yesterday. Legs felt like a hamster, watch suggests cadence of 165 (bit slower than I’d do outside…last 10k outside was 178).
Treadmill is calibrated with the ruun thing (on zwift) and pretty close to read out anyway.
Used to love treadmill running (many years ago).
