More FTP increase today. Up from 186W yesterday to 202W today so 51W total increase in 9 days
Just for info, I am not doing these all out but 20 min section within a workout on erg mode with FTP set at 110%-115%. Currently, I’m still about 20bpm below maxHR on todays ride so still have more to give. I’m guessing I’ll max out at 230/240W before I then have to work on it. All increases currently are just getting used to riding again.
I didn’t possess a power meter or turbo when I last rode regularly so have no idea what kind of power levels I used to be at. Can I estimate this from an IM bike split - even very roughly?
Also do the one with the knee bent to get at the soleus, and our fireplace has a little lip on the hearth that I can bend my toes up which seems to improve the stretch towards the Achilles area.
2x zwift races yesterday. One after the other. Either the power meter popped or I did on the 2nd race.

So a rare entry by me. Another lovely spirited road run; down to 4:15/km for 60 mins now Spring has just about sprung, and my body is coming alive. I can’t help thinking all that suffering on Zwift has helped my running to not go to pot , despite no speedwork or road running all winter.
