Basically after my ultra I really did very little for 2 weeks. Last week I was training again, but shocked how much I had lost (or perceived I had lost). By the end of the week I was on much better form, so decided to carry on for another week, and just taper for one week. 5 weeks is just not enough time between events

Did an Azure Fundamentals course and then an Azure Data Fundamentals course.

Took the dog around Delamere on the way back, which was, as always, just lovely.
Had some beef brisket and beers at the new smokehouse for supper.

Got back from holiday on Monday - was a long 12 hour journey from the end of Cornwall to Norfolk. Hour on Zwift yesterday morning. Tuesday should be a hard session but wasn’t sure after a week off. Decided to do a few efforts after getting warmed up and happy to have Intervals.icu tell after my FTP had increased by 4W - now up to 268W.
Hour run on the treadmill this morning at a very gentle 10kph followed by half an hour run outdoors with the dog. Just trying to ease back in to a combination of cycling and running before I bring swimming back in later in the year.
