1 hour run t mill 1% 12 kms.
Av hr 138, at 75 kg I’m delighted with that, no idea why my bike is so crap, when my run is similar/ better to when I was nearly a stone heavier?!
5 min change ( we are triathletes after all )
150 l swim with virtually no effort, av hr probably similar to funksters runs.
Looking down constantly
Keeping left google in water
11-1 hand entry
Pulling back to the knee
2-2-4 stroke pattern
Twisting from the waist.
57:50 but I could have carried on at that effort level till I eventually fell asleep.
Why can’t I swim like that when I actually try ?!
Boxing later
High forearm
That a 25m pool @Mungo2 ? Very impressive speedage through the wet stuff
38km 69mins 219W NP, 176W AP 138bpm
About 18km of that was at 35-42kmh behind a massive tractor though
I wish… 19.35 m
Measured it…!
I don’t push off the wall though , ever.
There’s a good ( by my standard )swim in there some were.
Hoping for an effortless 1:10 full distance swim one day.
Ah ok, still really decent to swim 3000m in 50 something minutes with low effort
Another run in the tabis.
Left my watch at home so just used my phone and Strava
What this meant was no feedback on pace.
Thought I was struggling.
Nowt compared to the fishes on here, but I swam at 57 for 18? Months and nothing made me go faster or slower it seemed?!
I had one pace, literally at any distance, started watching my swim pro videos and took time off each swim, pb is now 52:34.
I’d probably need to do intervals and technique stuff to go faster… there horrible !
5 mile road race tonight, horrifically hilly 2 lap route.
Trotted round in 34 minutes something. Quads on fire.
Down t’dirt track for me tonight.
12 * 1 min on, 1 min off
Was decent.
After being off running since last Tuesday, my return was 90 mins of football. I did a lot of running. Body is aching a lot. Give me 90 mins of running over football all day. On the plus side, calf seems totally fine. Easy recovery jog later and see how that goes today before I get too excited.
9x4min @ 105%ftp with 4 min rest. Meant to be 10 but got interrupted by a 4 year old wanting the TV turned on. Felt OK, hard, but I would have been able to do the tenth so not quite on the limit. Will try reducing the rest interval down to 3 mins for next week.
Followed by 6km run with the dog. Legs felt really tired, even at very gentle pace. But I’ve only really just reintroduced running so this will take a few weeks to get up to speed.
Generally feeling good and looking forward to training at the moment.
Original plan for today was 16k commute to work but it never happened so going for a triple running day instead. 6k over the tops this morning, 10k for lunch, 6k commute home.
A VK or two would be excellent training for a Spring ultra
I no longer autopause rides or runs, I fucking hate it when my Garmin trolls me
I didn’t realise you could auto pause on runs, mine seems to just keep going, even though it auto pauses on rides. I always use the ‘resume later’ if I stop during running for any length of time.
