Meant to be a 6km easy but had to walk after 5km due to rear left quad going tight. I’m pretty sure it’s due to one of the S&C exercises I have to do, single leg bridge with arms crossed on chest.
It really hurts me and I have permission to revert to arms on floor, which I’ll do from now on.

Overhead press is on the limit now, real squeeze to get those last reps up. I’m impressed to find on my chart that I got up to 47.5kg in March, which seems pretty unlikely at the moment!

7k lunch run with a 3k tempo effort in the middle. Fitness is coming back. Local fell run tomorrow. I’m tempted to give it a go and pretend I don’t mind about not coming in the top half!
Got dark.

Got 4 nights shifts to do which is never conducive to quality training. My usual trail run was swapped for an easy 45 minutes on the treadmill.
Try to keep intensity low when on nights, but may do a gym session tomorrow if I feel like it when I wake up.
