There is only one Permitted Instance when splish splashing around for a short distance in water is allowed, and that is just before a nice long bike ride and run :grin:
(And provided the water is not too cold obviously.)

Very tentative 8km test run and 600mtr walk back home. It went ok but could just faintly feel it on the walk back.

46.48 at 5.51 pace

Replaced my three/four session per basic week with two extra Zwift and two gym sessions.

Thighs still painful from squats on Sunday.

Did some bike but skipped run yesterday.

Want to run medium sort of effort length tonight.

Do I do some lighter lifting or endurance effort bike now or just go for a walk?

I hope not!
Basically, my ankle is painful walking the dog a few miles. Let alone running on it.
It also started to ache whilst swimming this morning.
Cycling seems to be fine.

I’ll probably go to parkrun and “jog” round to see what that does.

Sounds like you are on the mend FP, just don’t get too excited and go run for a few hours - which is probably what I would do :sweat_smile:

12km trail run this morning in the rain and wind - but then again I do like crap weather running!

Don’t do what I do and keep running to ‘test’ if the injury is still there, because IME, it always is. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

My nice Japanese one needs to go back to where i bought it from as the tang is coming loose so it’s unsafe. But it’s sat in the drawer for over 6 months!
