Training - What Training?!

Hooray, I can post on here legitimately again!

49.6km week with 770m elevation. All nice and easy.

I’m feeling better with every run, though granted I’ve not run beyond 90mins yet. :joy:

Few easy runs next week and I’m a go go.

Will be 2 hrs in to my race this time in 5 days!

Great week for me

16hrs 40m in total…

with 150 miles on the bike
33.3 miles of running
1hr 41m in the pool

for a TSS of 926, and a closing CTL of 98

This funemployment lark is great… shame it’ll have to end before too long! :flushed::disappointed::violin:

Much lighter week for me. The 10k race yesterday and the 2+ hr steady run today are the only real things of note. Nice to do a bit more swimming tho…

Passed 10,000km riding for the year today, and passed 12,000km riding, skiing, running and swimming yesterday

During a slightly mad moment, decided to do a 105km swift race today, it was horrible.

Since very fast intervals on Wednesday, had a slight groin strain, so a few days off running and more on the bike. Hopefully back running tomorrow

Back to normal routine after a week off.
Swim - 2 hours (1 coached)
Bike - 3:45 (+2hrs commuting)
Run - 1:45
+1hr S&C

Week was going well for me but my kids sleeping routines (or lack of) ruined me.

3 days run commuting for 40km and 3 hrs 18
3 swims - just under 5km. Was great to be back in the pool
1 day bike commuting and and 40 minute ride on Saturday with 30 minutes at 285 watts.

Binned my Sunday morning run as I may of had one too many glasses of red wine :roll_eyes:

Are you still on southern hemisphere training time?
Your training seems like mine - more in winter, less in summer!

I seem to be a bit more focused on next year and having a small glimpse this year of what it takes to run long and high, I’ve realised there isn’t much time to waste this winter!

Just bought my annual single issue of 220 to get the calendar. That’s next year’s tracker sorted, along with GC, Strava, TP, Excel Spreadsheet and MyFitnessPal :nerd_face:

6km -3C run this morning @5.20 pace. Seemed fairly easy actually, which is unusual after a speed session.

Been full tights for past 3 weeks, now well below zero day and night

No swimming, again, for me today.
One hour available at lunch, somebody wants a call over lunch :frowning:
