Not a great week, as expected, but still got 5 activities in so that’s a bonus.
Jumped on zwift for a quick hour this afternoon when an opportunity opened. Did 20 mins with Coco, then decided I needed more of a workout. So I dialled up to just over HIM power. Target is probs 220-225, I aimed for 230-235 or so for 30 mins in one block.
Tbh it felt quite hard after about 20 mins. Which is a hit worrying. I guess I could’ve probably held it, just about, for an hour but it would’ve completely rinsed me. Getting a bit jittery about my bike. But think that’s just the usual training ups and downs.
Didn’t have time to swim though unfortunately. Unless 25 mins on a paddleboard counts?!
On the upside, did have a great 10 days with the girls. So there is that.
Still feel really tired today but went and got a 5x5 session done at lunch.
Back up to where I was before a week off and deloading. Got some knee tendon pain now though. Getting old sucks. Might just be tightness in my quad. Maybe I need to get some of those knee sleeves
Hit a low after 4 hours. There was a flat section on canal path, with a 15-20kph head wind, ill take hills any day over this. However as the ride went on i felt better and better. Food was power bars and fanta, very under fueled compared with IM races, but that was partly the point.
