Trisuits

This thread is useless without a Try On Haul video.

I reckon the TT community can do better - this could be TTs chance for ££££s guys!

Huub have their fancy go faster one at 50% off now.

Their Black Friday starts tomorrow evening restricted to registered customers, so there’s a chance of better deals

Hard to imagine it’ll get lower than half price though I must admit

4W for £150…£37.50 per watt…

Thanks I was looking at it just the other day.

Purchased. I need all the help I can get in the battle for the wooden spoon at the 113 Classic! :joy:

They let you return, so possibly worth trying. I got both small and medium, but had to return both for the reasons previously mentioned

I had a white Skinfit top for Roth due to the sun/heat but as I received a broken nose due a punch up in the swim. I looked a mess crossing the line as nose bleeds and the TT position do not really go together.

Yup. I looked, I put 2 iny basket and now I’ve deleted the page.

I’ve got the Castelli on the way. The Huub is 50% more (even if it is a good deal) and I need to stop wasting money. As fun as it is, my life won’t change with those 4 Watts! :joy:

Slim pickings for me, a sweatshirt for £15 and a jersey for £15.

To my point on variable sizing, I’m an S for the sweatshirt, M for the jersey, and an L for the anemoi+ trisuit…

I’m getting tempted by the Anemoi+ as a Christmas present - after all this is my life now.:sob:

@Adam @jeffb how has the Anemoi been for racing?

@stenard did you get one in the end or go for something else?

I haven’t actually used it! Tried it on and it felt like a tight fit around the arms, not sure it will be usable for me on anything longer than an Olympic and have only done 1 race since getting it.

Didn’t realise this until it was long past the returns date, I do need another suit though so could try the next one up.

I’ve had no issues with it, no chafing etc fit is generally fine.

185 cms, normally 77kgs racing and I bought a large

Think I paid 90 quid? I can’t remember though. Will have look if I’ve got pics

Only raced up to a half in it thougg

ETA - pretty sure @stenard went with an endura suit

Just tried on the Castelli. Bought a small and medium. Got into the small, but when I breathed out or flexed my upper body the zip totally opened to the bottom! :joy:

Med was ‘ok’. Fit was fine. Just something wasn’t right. Wasn’t a big fan of the weird top and bottom stitched together, as noted by Adam.

Can’t quite put my finger on it. If it was £50 I’d probs take a punt. But this is close to a hundred, and going to be my only racesuit for the next few years.

Think it’s gonna have to go back.

The new Assos trisuit looks good, but maybe a bit Alan Sugar?

Love assos stuff

Never knew they did a SBR suit.

I’ve used an Orca 226 for last 4/5 years. It’s been great and fits really well still. I should probably do a check that’s a not wearing thin when I’m on the bike :doughnut:

I just picked up a short sleeved Zone3 suit in their black Friday sale for £22.95, first new suit I have bought for years so feels amazing compared to my knackered Santini one!

Tried the medium today, looked great, felt great but even just standing could feel something rubbing below my belly button which must have been the same issue Adam mentioned. Not sure if it was the zip itself, or a rogue seam. Don’t think it helped it was the last one they had and it looked like it had been on and off a few times before reaching me, good few loose threads already. Guess that’s one risk with these end of year sales.

Although it’s a great price it’s still a chunk of money and I can’t imagine that rubbing would be anything other than annoying and sore once I started running.

Should get the Zone3 through tomorrow or Thursday so will see if that works better.
