Trisuits

My Google skills are letting me down. I need all the help I get, are there any stand out aero performers? I did try the Huub Anemoi+ but didn’t get on with the fit (earlier in this thread).

My tri suit is almost a decade old and sleeveless, so I need an upgrade.

EDIT: Probably should have said I’m not a dentist  I nabbed the Huub half price @ £150.

GTN were showing the new Quintana Roo bike the other day and said it was a “value” bike at $5,100USD.

Thanks @gingerbongo, superb phycological technique applied there, seeing the price QDC D2Z made me realise what a bargain the Zone3 Aeroforce-X (Nopinz collaboration) is at ONLY £275. Ordered.

Blimey. £275!

I think £150 would be my top end for a trisuit. The fit would have to be excellent too

It’s stealth cash.

You don’t realise it until your not doing it anymore.

I was aghast at how much they were when I bought my DS Huub back in 2019 (to be fair, I think I only paid £80 for that, too)

@Poet new tri-fit suit arrived today. I’ve chucked it on quickly, but not had time to study it.

Pros
 LOVE the colourway. Really different.
Overall fit is perfect for me in terms of height etc
Really good fit on upper body which is where I struggle due to quite broad shoulders for a Med.
Very lightweight material.
Loads of flex for swimming and stuff. Decent pockets.

Cons
Weirdly the leg grippers aren’t that tight. There’s a tiny bit of slack right at the bottom unless I pull them right up. Odd as I normally full the thighs on stuff like this.
Pad is very thin. Haven’t had time to check if it’s dense, which makes up for the the thickness.
Nit picking, but when in fake aero, the top of the chest bunches up a bit. But this is a bottom end of their range, comfort suit. So it’s not claiming to be mage aero.
I just wonder if the slightly baggy (baggy probably the wrong word, maybe looser) bits will stretch with time.

Need to give it another go when I have more time. But I’m not 100% at the mo. Tempted to upgrade to their more aero offering. The price of this suit is sunk into last month’s pay. So then it’s just the top up price in this month right? :joy:

Those legs look like SHORT shorts :exploding_head:

I like mine just above the knee.

My legs are huge, so I’d probs fill them out.

They’ve sold out of my size, so I’m gonna tear up a pair of old Jammers and stitch that into the Huub suit :+1:t3::joy:

When are sleeveless suits making a comeback?

When are speedos and crop top making a come back?

You mean they went away???

I recall a lad at Outlaw wearing them and getting a DQ for the gap being too large between trunks and crop top.

Just checked the results and looks like he got his result reinstated. A tenner well spent, I’d say :clap:t3::moneybag:

I recall him being livid in the changing rooms.

Can’t find the image, as it’s on an older laptop somewhere…not in Da Cloud. Can’t have those images “leaked”
