Trisuits

I was looking at sundried

Suits looks great. I do like the design of the Liberty one.

I’m not exactly very knowledgeable about all this stuff but reading the blurb the upgrades on the next generation don’t seem huge to merit paying extra unless sizing is an issue. It looks like £60 for some hip pockets…

Slightly different arm material from what the sales guy told me, plus the ‘floating’ pockets :person_shrugging:t3:

This one will do me fine I’m sure. I’ve ordered it, so hoping fit is good. :crossed_fingers:t3:

I doubt there would be much in it in real terms if both suits fit you well. If you really wanted aero then the nopinz / zone3 would be the way forward but dull design. Or the Endura QDC D2Z suit but £££

I bought a Fusion speed suit several years ago. Size M, fit is perfect, lovely compression on the quads, no wrinkles.

I’ve bought other Tri suits since but none has matched it, it still looks new even though it’s been through the wars (I shat myself in it one year ), grippers all tight, no bagginess appearing etc.

They are onto V2 these days at £200, no idea if that’s as good. Can’t remember what I paid but it was a bargain.

Only thing is the pad is very thin, so I pinched a pad off another Tri suit and sewed it in so it’s comfier for IM.

Was that donor pad made by Pampers?

No idea about Fusion Tri Suits… however, I bough some fusion running shorts last year, wish I had bought 4 as they are brilliant in every respect, cannot fault them… and as a bonus they have great pockets that can carry phone, gels, even a water bottle

I had a Fusion speed suit as well, white and neon yellow. Great kit and picked it up at Wiggle at the time.

£58 if you’re a S or XL for one of the Fusion suits …

I liked the Fusion suit and the white and neon didn’t go see through when wet which is a bonus.

My Fusion has the red trim, still looks fine and 90% chance it’ll see action at outlaw half on Sunday.

As you say the white material does not go see through and also blocks the sun unlike the castelli’s which have almost see through back panels.

You said that after the previous Huub suit you bought, and you’re now saying you went and got their more expensive aero one?! :joy:

Well…it was a brand new unworn ex-display model for £50, so I couldn’t resist.

I tried it on at home and my wife was like “Erm, nope!”

Don’t HUUB wetsuits disintegrate as soon as you remove them from the wrapper?

Yup!
I’ve got a Zone3 Vanquish now. Much better.
Again, another ex-display model for £150.
Although this one, a chair or something has been stood on it and it’s got a mark where it’s been compressed.
But WGAF :man_shrugging:t4:

At the other end of the scale I splashed £24 on this bad boy.

Admittedly it’s snug & you may be able to tell whether I’ve been circumcised or not, but…£24
