TriTalk on Tour 2023

I really fancy IM France but Switzerland does look really good too. Vitoria-Gastiez appeals too but that is mostly because it is in Basque Spain.

Yeah, Outlaw and something else.

Keen for a couple of big races next year and I’d like to get involved in the TRiTalk sausage fest 2023, serious FOMO this year

You have you plan for the cost of Switzerland unlike any other European venue, but it is nice. I did Zurich with @Wheezy in 2019 but I’d have to be feeling pretty wealthy to go again.

You did actually finish!

Ha ha it was another hot bastard of a race, but after the most torrential rain I’ve ever ridden in. They could’ve extended the swim about 3km into the bike.

2 IMS in a year :exploding_head:

I’d like to do Bolton again :joy::zipper_mouth_face:
Really liked it. Annoyed I didn’t finish.
Just the cost is nuts.

Cotswolds was ace.
New course should be good, but might try something different for my middle (maybe Deva, as wife can get the train and we can then get a tonne of meat from Hickory’s afterwards :joy:)

Fast half, challenging full :+1:t3:
Not mentally ready for sub10 yet.

I really enjoyed Nice. By far the worst race result I’ve had, largely medical shite in the build up and really hot temperatures on the day, but the race itself is brilliant in my humble opinion and I’d love to go back and race it. Great support from the locals on the bike and the run, although hot and boring along the prom is pretty much lined with spectators all the way out to the airport. I’d happily go back.

Ha, yeah. I’ll see how Wales goes first.

Maybe a sub 10 attempt at Outlaw and a 70.3 in the sun somewhere

I’d enter Bolton again just not next year!

Yeah, same. If I can sort the achilles, with my life upheaval later in the year, a half distance to keep ticking over for would be great. Especially when also joining a crowd.

Not exactly Judith Chalmers are you

I think he did spend some time at a secretarial college in Manchester.

Right, I’ve had a big dose of common sense and I’m going to work towards doing the Tritalk half, whichever event that might be. At the moment, the training for that will be more than enough.

Bolton it is then :joy:

GAH :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

1 day and 9 hours of Flex90 left on Bolton entries.

HELP

I’m free for Bolton, Outlaw and that new one (Odyssey)

£520 vs £325 vs £200.

But, once fuel/accom/days off have been accounted for, it’s all a much of a muchness.

It’d also be my sixth Outlaw :joy::roll_eyes:
Can easily get to Bolton for recce’s.
(Probably only do a couple, new course, plus the traffic lights are grim)

Outlaw is late on in the season (end of July)
Bolton fits better (start of July)

@gingerbongo @Adam - What you in for?

Outlaw and Wales - I’m going back to Bolton in 24

I would like to squeeze a half in too, maybe 113.

Frankfurt, start of July. Join me in showing The Hun who is boss. It’s them.

IS that in the Wales or England?
IF not, it’s a no from me.

@Adam - Chester DEva, 11th June 2023, £115 :slight_smile: Finished by 11am :open_mouth:

Do the maths. I’ll bet it’s cheaper to fly to Frankfurt than fuck about in England.

Unless you’re on the No Fly list?

Don’t worry, you can speak slowly and LOUDLY to them if they can’t understand you there.
