TT Smackdown 2025

Training is in a bit of a lull for me as well since getting back, getting a few quality runs in but so far cycling and swimming is very much ticking over, the Zwift races today were decent efforts for about 6 minutes!

Hoping to build them up though soon.

Training’s going pretty well for me, although fitness isn’t good, still running every day, and been riding at least once a week with the good weather. So I should be able to make the start line pub the night before to say hello.

I’ve completely lost track, are we talking about the Cotswold Classic 113 on 13th July?

That’s the one I’m doing.

I’m planning on being the cheer squad but not sure where I’m going, or when and other vital stuff like that.

We’ve booked a pitch at Cotswolds Lake Camping which Graham said was near, taking his word for it. Any visitors welcome, look for the guy sitting in a folding chair pre-hydrating from a blue can emblazened with the letter ā€œFā€.

Are you certain about that?

You’re going to be in the Cotswolds, not Cottingham?

Ad a person that loathes, nay hates camping, where would I be looking for the nearest or semi close PI?

It’s either that or an early start!

There’s a Premier Inn in Cirencester, or a Travelodge down the road in Swindon.

Or enough of you could rent a house on one of the lakes, although I suspect it’s a week stay minimum.

Think we’re in the purple palace in Swindon

Plenty of time yet but I need to put my wetsuit on before then!

There’s 4 premier inn’s and two and a half travelodges in Swindon (one they own, but hasn’t yet been rebranded) Blunsdon PI is probably the quickest access, but none of these places are far.

Thanks All :+1:

Cricklade is very close and has a couple of hotels / pubs with rooms.

I feel like only one of them can be the premier inn…

The one in Cirencester will be The Premier one, by price if nothing else.

I stayed in Cricklade last year. Its 10 - 12 minutes away by car.

Cirencester is 8 - 10 minutes.

Swindon about 20 - 22 minutes

7 weeks away right? I’m no where run wise.

How much is camping, is it like hotel prices?

Im no where swim, bike and transition wise. :winking_face_with_tongue:

Go on you know you want to enter.
7 weeks is perfect, 6 weeks training and one week tapering and thinking what have I done.
