Okay I’ve restarted, and cancelled then rejoined on home screen. I now have the blue button in Innsbruck. I’ll press it in a while, as assume cannot pedal in game?
Sorry chaps, got back from work and CBA’d. Tough day for me and the Mrs at work, I’ve been sent out ‘get something to drink’……
@Matthew_Spooner you’re an animal
Who’s A.Newham? You wouldn’t let it lie
I need to do something with my 2 day taper
Just so happy to be mobile again
As you can tell, I have no tactics
Well ridden gents. Looked like a couple of closely fought battles going on at the front?
I can’t sprint on my trainer, so was trying to wear @mw22 down slowly.
Then I realised it was an uphill finish…
Yeah that last 200m never ended
I tried to get on and watch but it wasn’t one of the live worlds, so it wouldn’t let me.
I was convinced the ride was going to finish at the bottom of the hill… but I was watching spooner and at 19.1k he was just turning the corner. That made me happy!
I did wreck my knee getting on your wheel before the corner tho!!
I dont get how you gapped us when you did - Im sure I was paying attention, then you were 20 metres ahead.
See that’s the issue I’ll sort of have as the Computrainer doesn’t allow those massive spurts where people just disappear up the road.
I have to pick my spot and wind it up
Good single leg drill session guys.
There was a mighty battle at the back as well between me and myself
Could do with a few Cat Cs and Ds joining in to keep me company
Held on to the group as long as I could but continuing 10-15W above my usual racing max wattage wasn’t going to end well, probably should have sat up and joined FP, not sure we’d have made the 30 second gap to Nick though. Thanks for keeping me honest FP, you could tell from the time gap which one of us was on the uphill and downhill sections
Me and Funkster battling it out… and me being the paranoid one convinced Jorgan will catch if we play too many games
Im getting a completely different racing experience out of these (Compared to normal mass events) … really enjoying them (afterwards) - thanks everyone
Same here- I just blew after 10km. Maybe I could have held on to Jordan and ?A newham? a little longer, but not all the way. So sat up, but quickly realised you were just behind so the new game became trying to stay away. Enjoyed it.
Feels a little more “accountable” than a normal random Zwift race with strangers
