Ah ok. Im think of doing a 20k TT race at the weekend, more ZA Tri stuff. Not sure if I need to pick a category.
I vaguely remember something about the categories not being intuitive.

The ZA Tri cats for the TT are:
Cat A: 40km TT
Cat B: 20km TT
That’s it.
57kg and 175cm, oh do f* off Mr Matsuhito.
CHeck out his Strava profile…we can’t put the hurt on him!
He’s about 12 and under 45kg! (Is that the minimum weight?)
@jorgan - 65-79kg is considered a “normal” weight range for someone of 185cm.
I’ve noticed that a lot about the Japanese riders.
Notably going past me uphill at 6W/kg ???
I know the people are slight and small, but that’s ridiculous!
Like this guy; over 8hrs at 400W 45.5kmh
OK, looking into this more seriously. Currys (shudder) have the 32" LG tv I’m after in stock and Apple TV. I might get it today. My trainer is BT and Ant+,so will broadcast to ATV.
What’s not clear is how I get my HR from my 935 to ATV. I think my options are:
Dedicated BT HR strap
Use the NPI Cable and connect everything via that (out of stock on Amazon)
Connect all devices to my phone via Companion App and broadcast that to ATV (is that viable?)
I get great wifi in the garage but my iPhones don’t have great wifi range, so may look at a wifi extender also.
It might be cheaper at Argos!
I reckon you’re looking at the same one I bought a few months back
Probs still beat us all! haha
Someone from South Korea on the Innsbruck KOM came past me at 18w/kg yesterday, seemed reasonable
Probably can but y’know, day off and all that. Looking at this one.
It’s just a game.
Long story short: ANT+ doesn’t seem to work with Zwift & my Kickr (frequent drop outs or not finding it at all). Using bluetooth via my phone using the Zwift companion app does. However, I don’t want to rely on my phone (in case battery gives out, can’t easily have it charging while on Zwift) so have bought a bluetooth dongle for my PC.
I’d still like to have the option to use the companion app, but want to ensure it’s the PC bluetooth being used, not the phone’s. Anyone else have this setup and know how to do that?
Focus Paris series starts today. An event every day to Sun. Flat, big turnouts. Maybe see you out there. I’ve got 3pm today, and 7am sat and su pencilled in.
Yes, despite having junior accounts, the minimum weight is 45kg’s, which is why we had the cheating watts booster for a 15kg rider.
Probably just buy a cable… A USB extender to put the dongle near the device.
Zwift power watts
Random number generator more like
Cheers
The little Welsh lad on our race today is tiny - superman-styling some cyclocross win over the line = cool dude
@fatpom - we got the 32LM630BPLA which appears to be IDENTICAL to the one you posted for £219, so £10 is neither here nor there.
Great TV for TV the price
FortiusAnt in demo mode gives you a nicely varying believable stream of random watts from a controllable trainer, no technical knowledge required, just 2 ant sticks if you want to rack up some fake riding for achievements btw.
Yes. Thought as much.
Where the fun in that though?
It’s a game, you need to make it accessible to people who can’t ride right, you still need to choose when to apply the power ups!
I did look into that, but to route it nicely it would need to be at least 3m, and then the reviews were saying at that length it’d need to be a powered connection, and it seemed to get quite pricey. And I was concerned it’d still not work.
