Jumped on the turbo about 3.45 was going for an hour potterin around and joined an endurance group ride for 90 mins zone 2 thought that will be ok…how wrong I was …I could have eased up like I was supposed to but when someone comes past it’s game on!
That is why I can’t run a decent marathon …I get wrapped up in the d swinging

Been thinking about my Zwift set up. I wasn’t in the mood in the end for a spin but Mrs FP came out of the garage and already stated that she’d rather I didn’t Zwift because the garage was so cold. (it was pretty fresh).
I do get cold in there but when I think about it, it’s not the riding, it’s the 10 mins of faffing with opening the doors, plugging stuff in and waiting/hoping that there is no log in/connection errors on my MacBook, if there is, then it’s another 5 mins.
By that time I’m losing interest and body heat, even with a hoodie on. I need something that’s going to connect quick and have me pedalling in a couple of mins, so I reckon I’m heading down the AppleTV + tv route.
Agreed, I go into garage and turn my set up on, back inside for a bit then shoot out and click the Zwift jobby back in for a coffee then I am pretty good to go, updates can mess it up a bit. Also enjoy finishing my coffee during the warm up section!
Getting an Alexa in the garage has helped don’t have any music issues
Fucking freezing in the garage today. The last session was 70mins of someone harping on and fucking on about heart rate and age. Jesus Christ.

Apple TV doesn’t work with ANT+
Ant+ wouldn’t come into it if I had a tv. Apple TV has Zwift built in.
Another reason I use my iPad, I’ve got a mainsplug extender in the garage so it should pick up wifi quickly, plus the wattbike is a quick start-up, just put on the bike shoes and go really.
It’s been getting cold though, then when I warm up and take my jacket off the fan makes my arms that cold they sting, bit of a no win situation.
Yeah my iPad mini fires up quickly but it’s a bit hard to see, as I use a TT bike and can’t really mount it anywhere.
I have Apple TV. It’s brilliant. Use a “cable” thing that slings the HRM to it via Bluetooth. When I can’t be arsed zwifitng I can watch other shit via the Apple box instead, including the free year’s worth of their “premium TV” service (it’s so bad*) bundled with it.
*but you do get muppets!
Anyone had any luck with an good value Android tablet?

Not in the actual race, no. It’s on finish position. Zwift power just gives you stats on people’s 20 min, 5min, 1min power etc so you can suss em all out.
