First to use as warm up. Second in with the As with monster points available.
First race was no HUD, very odd. Way harder than expected. Finished 3rd, since bumped up to 2nd.
Second race. Plan was just too hang in for as long as possible. Didn’t start to bad, then we hit the smallest gradient, one bloke went from the back. Absolute carnage followed as the pack imploded chasing.
Survived that… And about 3 more occurrences. Was never gonna contest the sprint… But just wanted to take any place I could. Came round final bend… 40O to go…

Oh fuck, I lost a route badge from a drop out earlier this week!
I wouldn’t have minded… But I absolutely destroyed myself staying with them.
It saved in zwift… But not in results. So I can’t get included.
There was soooo many points on offer.

After contemplating it for at least 2 years, including thinking about a DIY effort at one point, being on hol with idle thumbs has led to me ordering a rocker plate for my trainer this afternoon.
It will be interesting to see if it makes as much difference as claimed to comfort on long rides…. I foresee me putting in some extended hours on Zwift in the coming months, as I struggle with outdoor rides over the winter.

Ticked off Kappa Quest as a recovery ride, started on the countryside tour race in Cat C but they were hammering it so I bailed.
