Be careful here though. My limited research suggests that the amber nectar is best used as a recovery drink. The gainzz are not so great when used as nutrition during exercise.
PS you know the only reason I have this stuff is my wife keeps buying it when she does the Tescoes’s shop? Apparently it’s the cheapest beer so it must be the most appropriate
I’m going to be even weaker than last week, if that’s possible. But this time i haven’t got a Covid riddled @adam to hang on to until the bottom of the big hill!
Just remember to stand on the pedals as we approach Whitehall, and put in a 60s effort; keep going until we are 200m the other side. I would try and hit it at the front, and as the stronger riders start passing you, you’re still in touch at the top. The critical point is pressing-on after the top, to maintain the gap.
I will be doing that, and things will get strung out! I will be trying to drop Tim again; he should be expecting it, but I will ‘press to test’ regardless.
