Virtual Zwift Rides

Whoop whoop :partying_face::tada:

Dropped back to Cat C :+1:t3:

Enjoyed this article on Zwift insider explaining that the best way to become a “top A or A+” is to have a profile pic of yourself riding a bike in a Jersey.

Not sure where @mw22 is going wrong then :grinning:

What it actually says is that you need a 1-2 minute power of 8w/kg to hang on at the end of a race, and then a 15s power of 13 w/kg to sprint for the finish.

I dont think those numbers are high enough.

And you also need a decent 20min power - cause I cant get anywhere near my 1 min and 15 sec efforts when Ive been hanging on to the bunch for the entire race!

Besides - we’ve still got guys doing 17wkg sprints in Cat B

They have ‘normal human headshot’.

Does that mean there are people lower down the graph with a non-normal human head?

Also note there is no ‘trafleet shot’ on the list.

You A and A+ boys better be representing the crew in your trisuits

I should be fast AF as my photo is of me beasting it up the struggle on Helvellyn on a TT bike!

Sadly the formula is flawed

Too many sandbaggers in B and how TF is poet a C :flushed:

Edit, might know where I’m going wrong, I’ve just got a plain white bike top on instead of a team jersey

Elizabeth Swaney

Because my race from >90 days ago fell off.
Which would be just prior to my hand operation and then busting my ankle.

Most of my races in Jan and Feb were 3W/kg at 95%.
Which is why I’m a C.

If I have another 300W race, then I’ll be a B.

You’ve got to remember my weight
And I’m also better IRL than this stupid damn game :see_no_evil:

Cheeky handicapped inter club TTT vs our nearby rivals down the M3.

Handicaps designed to bring teams together near the end with no rules in final 2km…

Great idea but several of their teams used the clocks on devices which doesn’t sync with the Zwift clock.

Nice way to end the Tuesday night indoor season.

Oi, Fruity, no!

@fruit_thief - how’d you like that? Think I did okay getting a UPG / DQ in Cat C

No DQ for me. Came 5th.
Highest power and NP.

No UPG either. By the skin of my teeth :grimacing::tooth:

5 lap crit in Makuri islands

My HR was up near max for all of the 2nd half, max is 175

Power was not huge but frequent accelerations. When it got to 1km to go I was at my absolute limit and everyone else rode off at 6-7wkg. Crawled home 40/40 :sob:

Er

Three laps of Innsbruck last night - cat B.

Set my 1st, 2nd and 4th ever best times up the legsnapper (and 1 min and 30s power PBs) and still got dropped each time :joy:

Got back on each time though (luckily the front group wasn’t pushing on too much) but didn’t have much left for the sprint 24th in the front group of 27

Some joker rearranged tomorrows meeting at 1048 to today at 1100, so I missed that one :see_no_evil:

(I’ve been online since 6am, in my defence!)

Here’s my HR (red) and power (pink)
I got the PREEEEMS on lap 2, then just sat in at 70.3 HR until the end;
