Nice, you definitely have the race craft. Noticed you managed to finish in front despite averaging 20W less. Think we are the same weight, so guess that can only be Zwift skill.
Because a lot of this ride was quite steady, i kept relaxing then finding myself drifting off the back and having to put in an effort to get back into the blob, maybe that’s the reason?
That 1st hill though think I set a new 5 min PB, over 5wkg now:
2nd time up the same hill was expecting to get dropped but it seems like maybe everyone else was knacked too as it didn’t happen.

Yeah you definitely hit the front alot more than me. I’ve raced the route a few times now, there’s definitely a few false flats and such.
The start was annoying, absolutely buried myself with one other cat B to bridge across from a pen back.
Only to see the rest of the cat Bs slowly catch .
Point is progress (plus keeps the 90 days in check)
I was only 7watts slower up hill second time. Felt much harder.

Man this stupid turbo did not make that session easy. Erg mode went mental and decided to become bloody epileptic. So switched that off and it just carried on.
Could feel the resistance pulsing on and off during the VO2 intervals. Horrible way to do ‘The Ganna’. Nearly bailed before half way, but figured I’d just grit my teeth and ride it through. I’d say power was for sure over the interval requirements, so even though it was an irritating session, the legs got a beasting! And that’s what counts right?!

Are you sure you don’t have 2 apps trying to grab control of the trainer? I see that sometimes if I’ve run the calibration on the phone app then try to ride on another platform
Don’t think so. I deliberately turned the Bluetooth off on my phone, so just the ipad was hooked up.
I don’t think I’ve ever got this thing working perfectly. Well, it’s going back in a few weeks anyway.
Need to get the pm for the tt bike sorted before then, so I can use it on my dumb turbo. Note to self!
Are you in the big ring?
I always use the little ring when using ERG - I know people have reported power fluctuating in the big ring not sure if that’s the case here though
Tried both and it was being a tw@.
I’m at the point where I kind of expect it now.
On the upside, the session certainly did something as my quads were wrecked yesterday!
