Look at all the cat B power up there
First TTT of the year could be dynamite.
4 weeks and my ranking will drop like a brick, not been on since May.
Look at your Ranking now Back where a Cat B should be
Ooh that fell off a cliff quickly
Roll n September
Anyone signing up for the ZRL? This is the Tuesday series though I think?
It says you can do it solo, round 1 will be a struggle though.
I’ll be back with team I rode with last season.
Didn’t realise there was a solo option, thought they were dead against it.
Bit lumpier this first season which hopefully will be better for me.
Lumps are no good for me!
It was a bit contradictory tbh, in the email flyer it said turn up on your own if you want, but the sign up site says teams of 4+
I’m a bit (lot) out of my depth with BL13 and can’t commit regularly, the Thursday TTT works best for me, well that is until I get savagely torn apart from my supposed teammates
Just put yourself out there for a team.
I’ve done “ok” in what was arguably the toughest B division.
The difference from that top B division to riding with BL13 is massive. So if you can find a team in B2 or B3 you’ll be well up there.
I’ve really enjoyed it. The team dynamic has been great and really changes the racing.
This is going to ruin all your fun @jeffb
I’ve just seen it, it’ll make it hard getting past other teams?
Also means I won’t be dying hanging onto you lot!
Why do tt bikes having a draft make it more strategic fun? It’s just another bike option. Or is that the strategic fun? Slightly more choice of bike?
Doh, having read that again now I’m more awake I realise you are referring to my start line antics and ability to go early or miss it completely
I suppose TT bikes will benefit flat courses but maybe not the lumpy ones?
Will I see much difference between 8 & 16GB of RAM?
Probably not with Zwift, the GPU is going to be the most important thing for that running smoothly. However, if your budget can stretch I wouldnt buy anything under 16GB. But then I do like 300 tabs open in chrome
I’m looking at this; you sound like my wife/kids with having dozens of windows open! Want something with Ethernet, as I CBA to sort wifi in the Garage!

Looks decent enough. SSD so it boots up straight away, 16gb RAM.
Only thing with Lenovos is having to uninstall all the bloatware they come with
Yeh I don’t see how the draft for tt bikes in the ttt will add more fun either. Just means the riders will be on the slippiest tt bikes rather than road bikes. great we now get our own start times and dont have to stress about someone using a stopwatch
How was the Tiny race series @jeffb ??
Thought they looked fun… If my garage wasn’t oven like.
Absolutely horrific
Would be good for someone like you, too many little climbs for me where I got dropped although a flat out 5K this morning then leg work in the gym didn’t help.
Decent size races and series though, but some of the advertised climbing was a bit out.
It wasn’t too hard sitting in the pack after the first race, but on Innsbruck in the last 500m I think I went from about 10th to 55th
Good little series though and a hard workout, I only had 1 fan but as I said for a lot of the races it was about 3.5W\KG until 1K to go
Well worth a go on the next set.
Although I think to make it fair to us lardarses without a sprint one should be a short non-drafting TT on tempus fugit!
Ha, all that pain and torture for 3 & 7 points from 2 of the races, FML
