Virtual Zwift Rides

Stage 1 of ToW short loop for the double XP. Avoided trying to race!

Easier option. Just pick the route and ride on your own. Still get double xp :grimacing:
Did it in my warm up.

Ha, I meant race the other people on the ToW rather than your misery :joy:

That course is savage!

Filthy course that but good fun.

Decent race for me, 14th in a group contesting 7-18. Couple of guys dropped anvils just before the final turn and tried to latch on to them but didn’t have the legs for a long sprint.

5th for the team, or 4th if you take out the Dutch team that wins every round and had 1st to 5th and 7th last night. Dude in 7th needs to raise his game TBH

Yeah I enjoyed it. Race went so fast.
We whittled it down to 20…all 6 of us were in that till Pot Bank second time where 2 of ours slipped off.

I somehow latched on to the 2 pushing the pace and like to think I got in a breakaway for the first time.
We got a 2 second gap

Our sandbagger used the tips from Dazs race and won by a mile. I just scrapped a top 10.

Only dropped the one point so far.

Probably my least favourite course on Zwift, Pot Bank rewards people with really high 60s power. 35 people got dropped on Lap 1, however, just managed to stay with lead group of 22. Lap 2 half the group dropped a feather on pot bank… and I just dropped, the pack split 12 in lead group and 10 in chase group. Chase group almost caught lead group on the final climb, but wasn’t quite enough. I dropped my Anvil just before the final corner - couldn’t believe how fast I surged to the front of the group and held on to take 13th place

Enjoyed last night, survived until the final drag where I just didn’t have the 30s power to go with the surge and finished 17th.

Need to sort out using something other than a phone for Zwift as was too sweaty for my phone to realise I was trying to use a power up :weary:

I did a ‘Ride Watopia’ event on Monday; today I’ll do ToW short route (C) at 13.00 as time available dictates.

2/338

Probably put me back in A again

So he was effectively 3rd :joy:

She was probably in the chase group that caught us at the start of the ramp up to Italian Villas, and then promptly imploded when we unleashed hell, right? :smiling_imp:

We have a couple of short tasty sprints tonight if fancy joining us - 6:10pm and 6:35pm UK. First is flat with blue pills, second one is a little bumpy in New York with two anvils. A digestif to yesterdays ZRL

You get to race my wife…
I get Cav and some Irish Champion Tommy Evans ffs

Poor lad was hanging on. Bless.

He dropped out just before the sprint. He knew :eyes:

Hey everyone, so the frist announcement came out yesterday via Si Bradley of the teams for the Zwift Grand Prix. And we have both men’s and women’s teams in it!

Obviously we’re chuffed. Come a long way since a bunch of guys in A5 joking about one day being in the Prem league. Thanks for your backing in the Zwift community over the years, it’s really helped. And hope you can follow the and give the BL13 boys and girls a shout out when the time comes.

Was a joke you weren’t in the previous season.
Hope you have some exciting team tactics to deploy - cause no-one else will!

First two races are really interesting. Most of the riders in race 1 won’t score. If a rider score FAL, they are eliminated from the race. Race 2 up the Alpe has 3 prime spots with stacks of points, but riders have to finish within 5min of the first rider at the top. We have a couple of climbing monsters as you’ll see. Andy Nichols is in good form.
