The thing is, you’re comparing NP between rides, whereas your AP on the trainer ride was more than 20w higher, including your cruise of a final lap.
Your Wednesday ride has you showing max power of 750 odd watts, and so NP for it is probably skewed by big surges? On a trainer, you just get no respite. Your strava graph shows 50 odd minutes where you dropped below 200w twice. An outdoor ride always seems to allow perceived higher power as you’re often getting lots of freewheeling rest. E.g. You have an hour of z1 showing for the long ride.
Ultimately what I’m saying is, riding indoors is just different, and it requires some adaptation and just getting used to what’s required. As well as the heat aspect
Anyone up for this? Need 3 riders to put a team together. I would love to do it so need at least 2 more, however, the more riders we get the better it would be
I’d be up for this if i’m not already roped into something. Did the last one with (essentially) a team of three and it wasn’t quick - you all basically ride at a threshold effort for the entirety as there’s little respite in such a small group, much better with 5 or more i’d imagine.
