Virtual Zwift Rides

The thing is, you’re comparing NP between rides, whereas your AP on the trainer ride was more than 20w higher, including your cruise of a final lap.

Your Wednesday ride has you showing max power of 750 odd watts, and so NP for it is probably skewed by big surges? On a trainer, you just get no respite. Your strava graph shows 50 odd minutes where you dropped below 200w twice. An outdoor ride always seems to allow perceived higher power as you’re often getting lots of freewheeling rest. E.g. You have an hour of z1 showing for the long ride.

Ultimately what I’m saying is, riding indoors is just different, and it requires some adaptation and just getting used to what’s required. As well as the heat aspect

Cheers @stenard - that’s a great reply, thanks :ok_hand:t4::+1:t3:

I’m trying to stick with it (Zwift) now for stuff an hour or under and just going outside for some endurance stuff and hills/segments chasing.

I’ve found a nice short race tomorrow morning at 0810, so going to give that one a go on the C-Cat.

Remember to register on zwift power, so you can look back at all the data from zwift events, as well as activities. Great to scan calendar too

Yeah - I’m on that now, too :see_no_evil::joy:
After saying it’s just another thing to look at…

…website is down this morning, though.

They all say that at first :+1:

Anyone up for this? Need 3 riders to put a team together. I would love to do it so need at least 2 more, however, the more riders we get the better it would be

And @Daz - get Carl on it.
I’m weak as a kitten compared to you lot!

I’m in my local brewery team, but would love to see tritalk team. Matt you’d be great with your engine. I can mention to Carl.

I’d be up for this if i’m not already roped into something. Did the last one with (essentially) a team of three and it wasn’t quick - you all basically ride at a threshold effort for the entirety as there’s little respite in such a small group, much better with 5 or more i’d imagine.

I’ll play if there’s room on a team (and depending what time these things start)

Would 6pm UK time work?

Yep good for me, anything after 5pm and I should be good. 6 guarantees decent warm up

@Daz Local Brewery Team, top work! They used to just have darts teams in the old days…

@iower @mw22 If you are both good for 6pm I will register a TriTalk team

There are several other Zwifters like @stenard @funkster @Jorgan @jeffb @Doka @Jgav @goldenboots (appologies to others I missed) who would make a great team

I would be happy to do the lead out work, and let others sprint past me at the end to get a result

Matt see if you can get in the 1830 wave. That’s where we are in pen C. Would be funny if we’re all off near each other

First 3 from 4, or first 4 from 8. So best bet is get a team of 8 in. Then you can let 4 drop off as you go if intensity high

Ha. Believe it or not there were two brewery teams around Top30 out of 300 teams. So not bad getting through on beer fumes

I’d be more than happy to join in depending on start time.

I probably won’t this week but keep it in mind for future events :+1:

Also could be presuaded to do the TTT as part of a tritalk team depending on time, 6pm might be doable depending on meetings
