Second highest power and second fastest I’ve done it (50:06).
Bit annoyed to miss sub 50 and time doesn’t really stack with previous efforts… blaming neutralised bikes and no power ups for the difference.

Just did the Alpe race. Hit the start of the climb and was grinding away at 65rpm for 300W. Turns out the OH had turned the trainer difficulty up to 100 for some strength work
Once I’d stopped to sort that out had a decent ride, new AdZ pb 53:11
I watched wife do Alp whilst I warmed up.
She started in 70th after being dropped during lead in.
Was 20th by first bend . Finished 4th.
I went back up epic for another 2 hour beasting, mostly thanks to the pro female riding in cat B (no suprise she won).
Paced the final hill better, 7 secs quicker and 5th after the crazy breakaway man was DQd.
Pleased with that.
Wondered how she’d have done in the Elite race Mike? If she could have survived the lead-in she’d have done well
20th roughly if she’d been close to pb… And still can’t convince her to race

I did almost 40k for 15000xp, as the spinner landed on the helmet which I already have
Another 5v5 ladder race.
Tho we were close on the ladder, the teams looked highly stacked in their favour on the velo ranks, leaving us cat B emeralds expecting hell.
And boy did it come, relentless attack after attack. Every time we rolled thru they went over the top.
Think I hit my 15 sec power pb 2km from the finish chasing another attack…power up failed to deploy which was annoying, tho not sure I had anything in the tank.
We lost, but think we made them nervous.
I really wanted the GB bucket hat, but kept getting the bike, I think I have spun the bike about 4 times now. Ironically I get the NY baseball cap on first ride this week.
I’m rocking the recent tour de Zwift bucket hat, it’s increased my watts by about 5%
After 15 long months. Finally got a win
5 laps of legsnapper made for fairly long race. Pack split in half first time up. Each lap lost a few but they usually got back on.
Had a team mate call out the big sprinters. Few started with 900 to go… Held position. Just before 400 to go one came thru the pack fast and danger man 1 went… Followed that wheel and came thru perfectly with 100 to go.

I was thinking about Zwift last night. I haven’t turned a pedal in any form since about Oct. I updated the s/w this morning. Might go for a spin later this arvo.
The update was huge, so I’m assuming some new routes added since Oct?

Yeah, they coincided with the UCI world champs. They’ve been steady with the updates recently.

Used the zwift hub for power and cadence today as my pedals must have run out of battery. And surprise, surprise they were soo much better during the workout in matching the power on erg.
Removing that delay between the 3 items speaking to each other made it so much nicer!
Previously it was so jumpy and laggy when I increased or decreased the cadence, making short, hard intervals especially crap.
Guess I’ll just need a few rides outdoors to calibrate indoor power to outdoor power to decide what I should race at.
Anyone understand the new xp level stuff?
I know plenty don’t care - was a nice little motivation tool for me. Can’t work out if its going to make zero difference or I’m about to get mugged off
