Going to be a long night for her! Time for you to be tea boy!
That’s absolutely nuts! Bravo!
I do not know how she or any of you endurance lot do this.
With 16/17 done and 20 hours on the clock she could barely stand. Not eaten for about 6 hours. Talked about quitting…
But gets back on knocking out 2.5wkg
I’m currently lay on the treadmill (it’s at 1% like I’m outside )… At 5am…300m to climb.
Worlds best being shattered by 90 minutes at current pace.
Keep going EW!
Crazy but well done EW
Absolutely mind blowing Emma
Did everyone enjoy the new route in last night’s ZRL? I thought it was pretty good, apart from Titan’s Grove rollers which I hate. Snagged a 5th place in my bottom of the barrel B league
Which one? I did a new one in Scotland on Monday but just a longer ride round the existing roads.
Watopia, no new roads but an interesting route.
Think I saw that, might jump on for a general ride.
NOPE !!
Not sure if I was still fatigued from Friday… thought the epic steep bit was ok, bridge bit harder, cliffside even harder - then it just got worse and worse.
Almost got dropped at first bit of hilly KOM (a part I normally thrive on). Hung on to titans and when it was go time I barely had 3wkg. Rolled home 24/25 in front pack. Abysmal!
Yeah I thought last night’s ZRL was my favourite of the season, enough to be interesting and a good test.
My B1 league is a bit ridiculous tho, pretty sure some of the front guys should be in A.
7 of the top 8 in our ZRL last week were A by the end of it!!
Ha yeah I wasn’t able race last week but I did think the course would do that as people would go over the limits
FFS I did a race yesterday that finished up the portal climb; yeah that’s reset my A Cat window for another 3 months
As long as you don’t come second
Humblebrag
There need to be more races where all cats are together. I guess it changes the dynamics for the C and D cats, but too many small fields otherwise.
I found another event on Sand & Sequoias, about 12 people in the end; but those a-holes drilled it through the desert at 4.5/kg, and in the end I gave-up after about 3km. Lead B Cats caught me on the hill, and I stuck with them to the finish.
