After being mercilessly mocked by my Garmin recently for not putting much effort in I managed to get onto 2 9k races tonight, missed the first.
Was messing around in the first and had a long hard effort to get in the pack before finding out all the starts had merged so this included A’s!
The bonus was that I’m in C for the new category after not racing much so hung on with a few painful efforts. Dropped off the higher cat’s in the sprints but thereabouts in mine.
Legs are protesting a bit though1

Anyone have any experience of recovering a ride that didn’t upload?
I lost internet after finishing a ride the other day. I can see it listed in the log history when I triple tap the Zwift logo (iOS) and have sent it to Zwift but nothings happened as of yet…
Normally lost cause. Depends what you are after… if its route badges and such - zwift support can accommodate. If its the .fit to upload to strava - nope. Lost.

Yeah it’s the .fit - despite being on the log it hasn’t even uploaded to edit itself let alone Strava.
Not Zwift’d since late January; my ranking is obviously going down, and my Cat will soon drop to to B I assume. But my Racing Score is still 720. What gives? When will it all ‘reset’ and I can actually just get back into it and ‘chill’. Haven’t missed it tbh.
It looks like they’ve revamped the bike options on the Drop Shop 
I’ve got 35,000,000 Drops and I don’t think I’ve used them for anything in the last 2 or 3 years because there never seemed to be much point once I’d got a certain level of kit

They removed the depreciation - so you can only ride “advanced” - limited slots and only with the top ranked riders.
ZRS is a joke to me - Was in a “race” with 3 people yesterday… came 2nd. Went up 17 points - biggest increase Ive ever had.
Im over 740 now - all my team mates who are better than me in every way and beat me 90% of the time are all ranked lower (some significantly by 100+ points).
I hate it!

Grr, expected a 1500 strong blob tonight but everyone vanished after 3K so it was lonely ride round!
I think it has at least uploaded but I got the TT wheels with tri-spoke and not sure if they’ve appeared.

Trying to get my head around the bike upgrade overhaul. I’m sure their are lots of opinions flying around, but can’t really blame Zwift, they have given Level 100 Zwifters something to keep them riding and something to spend their drops on. The impact of an upgraded bike seems to be pretty big - not sure how big the difference has to be to be noticeable in the draft?
My summary so far:
- Wheels - have been recalibrated and Zipp are now top. The Zipp disc is the fastest aero and the 454 climbs on a par with the Lightweights - and is much faster on the flat. Only exception, Env7.8 might be better bet for flat/rolling.
- Tron is now a flat bike, anything with any elevation it gets beaten
- New best bike in the shop, S-Works Tarmac SL8 or Canondale SuperSix EVO climb as well as the Aethos and not far behind the Tron on the flat
- Upgrading takes time and drops. Is this going to mean a have and have not split until everyone catches up?
- Zwift can just release new top spec bikes every 6 months and the race to upgrade starts again
Anyway, I’ve bought an SL8 but it will probably be next winter before I have ridden enough to upgrade it.

The differences are so small that any half decent frame and wheels are within fractions of a percent, we’re talking about 10 seconds difference over an hour

Daz also did a comparison, does look like the Tron is reduced on anything lumpy.
I got the SL8 as a result, the S-works one and not the standard!
Lots of cheating going off to rank up quickly…

A fully upgraded bike is about 30sec quicker over an hour on the flat, and 40sec quicker uphill. But I don’t know if that is a lot.
