You might if you’re chasing fruity and buzz
Raced with @SidSnot today. I had a stay of execution when they sat-up on the Mall, made up 8s, but got dropped like a turd on Box Hill. Not helped by feeling quite tired today; daylight just after 4am isn’t helping.
Tried a short TT tonight, very painful, very regrettable and power was garbage.
Going to blame the warm garage!
I’ve been getting sick of it. Regular 25c+ humidity getting towards 70%.
2 air movers directly Infront
Fan behind
Fan by garage door trying to bring air in.
Convinced it’s having a huge negative impact.
Air con order put in today… should arrive just in time for winter
Just one fan recirculating warm air
Lack of recent efforts hasn’t helped.
It’s almost enough to make you cycle outside.
The crowds weren’t lining the street outside your garage tonight then?
Hmm, are you sure after getting assaulted by a wasp today!
Just prepping for the autumn / winter to maintain fitness but does the Zwift hub work in a Kickr core from 2020?
The model number is showing as 771B and can’t find anything to say it isn’t, though presume it is but if anyone can offer an insight that would be useful.
If you’re after the virtual shifting with zwift hub + click then I think your Kickr Core needs to be running firmware 1.3.17 or later
You should be able to check firmware version using the wahoo app on phone/tablet.
This might give you a few more details..

I finally got round to linking my Garmin Fenix to my Zwift account.
It seems that outdoor kms recorded on the Fenix are worth 5XP each. Better than nothing if you are trying to move up through the levels I guess?
Also noted that if you record your turbo sessions as an indoor cycling activity on the Garmin as well as using Zwift, you get the extra 5XP per km on the turbo too
Anyone fancy a mile of absolute misery later
Edit: yep, that was miserable and my legs are burning!
What was the time/power?
ZP is saying 348W for 2:30, but HR was fairly low at 162 but probably that lag as it caught up.
Had a go on the miserable Scottish course straight after, out of the back as expected on the third climb but it was more a 2 * 16 minute session at a reasonable power, something like 3.5W/KG overall, which was the session I was loosely aiming for.
I’ve just made L75, doubt I’ll make the 1% before they change it again
Here are the levels of engaged Zwifters on July 30, 2025:
- Levels 1-10: 13% of all engaged Zwifters
- Levels 11-20: 19.3% of all engaged Zwifters
- Levels 21-30: 19.9% of all engaged Zwifters
- Levels 31-60: 38.4% of all engaged Zwifters
- Levels 61-99: 8.5% of all engaged Zwifters
- Level 100: 1% of all engaged Zwifters
Would’ve thought the single or married ones would have the higher levels, the ones who are just engaged would be spending more time planning weddings and stuff?
Jumped into a rare zwift race and found in the small field the bloke who berated my wife on a pacer ride.
He was one of the few cat As and promptly attacked early on. Caught. And off he went again getting a nice 20 sec lead.
Reeled in again and as we approached the run in he was sat on my wheel. Fck was I helping him win, so as the front few went I let the gap go out
With about 300m left I’d managed to get on his wheel and with a very average sprint rolled past.
Amused by his race summary
“Race hard not bothered about result” ok mate
Just hopped on Zwift for the first time since Christmas, forgot what a sweat fest it is. Random B race which ended up having 700m of climbing, should’ve checked that aspect before firing it up🤮
Hmm, early start to the Christmas double Bologna special
er, think I’m washing my hair that day. What’s left of it
