Thurs evening, various time slots and waves, every hr.
Is there a way of seeing what routes I’ve done before choosing a new one?
AFAIK, only through the route achievement section, which annoyingly, you have to start a route (or pretend to) to access. If you are ticking off badges, I printed out the route list from Zwift insider and cross them off when done.
Found a way.
Went into the companion and then looked at activities and for each one the badges
Was tedious
Levelled up to 24. My reward?
A fcuking skater helmet.
Wait until you get to 30, it’s a vomit coloured jersey. I politely declined.
@stenard found this site a few weeks back.
You have to manually update it but it has everything you need on it
I’d be interested if we could get a team together.
Did a 3R group ride. 2 w/kg, nice steady ride, sprint each lap…or so I thought. Went off like a freight train. First sprint pace didnt drop, rode 3.5- 4 for nearly 5 mins, got back on and same thing happened. Took nearly another lap to get back on, was towing a few. Quit about 40mins in absolutely fucked. So much for steady ride. Not a patch on the Pack rides but I did enjoy it as I had good legs and worked hard.
Been trying to remember that site since I wiped and re-installed my PC last week, ta.
I Saw GPLama had created a YouTube video of himself riding around Grand Theft Auto on his Kickr so thought I’d try a give it a go myself…
As long as you use an ANT+ FE-C trainer it’ll react to the gradients and even spits out a fit file when you’re done so you can upload to Strava. Only had chance for a quick 20 minute spin but managed to run over 2 pedestrians (not my fault) and witness a police shootout
It’s really just a gimmick but I do hope the folks over a Zwift take a look at this
Wondered about doing this. You have to install a couple of 3rd party aps right? Also my kickr snap is bluetooth. Not sure if it is also ant+ as well.
Wouldn’t mind a go at this though having played the GTAs
I’m almost certain your kickr snap will be ant+ compatible too. You’ll most likely need a ‘dongle’ for your PC/laptop so it can support ant connections.

Completely newbie to Zwift here. My tri club set up a weekly meetup doing a 20km race (private meetup) round Watopia - Tempus Fugit, which I managed to fail to join properly twice in the 4 weeks. I think I’ve just about got to grips with whats going on now.
Last night I entered by first race. Almost got caught out as the categorizes related to age, so I was actually B rather than the D I’d originally selected. I must expect I was expecting more people, now realise I need to pay more attention to the signup numbers in ZwiftPower?
I am a little overwhelmed by the descriptions with many acronyms / team names / I don’t know what (it makes me feel like a proper old man watching young kids playing their games). It made me wonder if I was even supposed to join them or if they were intended to be for specific team members only?
Some of the regular groups like you to add their name in brackets to your in-game-name, it just show loyalty but doesn’t actually do anything.
That can happen. I didnt realise the recent Tour for All races were not on the normal categories, so I entered B and got DQ’d.
Races do tend to have a big spread of entrants, from hundreds to very few. It can also make a difference as to how a race feels if you enter a mass start or a separate category pen race. You can spot the latter on ZP or on zwift sign up, as whilst they’ll all list the same headline start time, B will be +1 min, C will be +2mins, etc.
Finally, I am now tending to race some of the series that various regions of British cycling are putting on. We’re SE, and there’s now a BCSE facebook page where they post up targeted events each week. At least with those, you know there’s going to be a fairly decent turnout. The race they’ve chosen for this evening for example is also the selected event for BC regions in South, East Mids, Central, etc. So should be healthy numbers. Does mean you have to work around the time of race they select however, rather than just choose a random event that suits your available time.
A lot of people will put [ ], ( ), etc after their name on Zwift itself. Generally the clubs and groups they are affiliated too, or sometimes to make a statement.
If you intend to be part of a team time trial (TTT), then you will be required to put the name of your club/team between ( ) on Zwift Power. The organisers require this.
There is no cross-over of the above. So whatever you have after your name (as well as the name itself) on Zwift and Zwift Power will not be linked.
Just to confuse matters even more - you can be affiliated to an official Zwift Power Team (as well as a few other secondary teams), but still compete in the TTT under another team. You can keep the team icon, but simply put the TTT team name in brackets after your name.
So for me I am officially part of BRT (club icon in column after my name) but I have “(Ludlow Brewery Racing Team)” right after my name.
If just starting out racing it’s best to start at the bottom regardless of how good/fit you think you are. Zwift are finally starting to filter out cheats and sandbaggers either by hiding, ‘throttling’/choking, or DQing. You can flag someone during the ride if you think something isn’t right.
Zwift Power is even stricter. Never going to be fool proof but it’s just a bit of fun right. When it gets to the high profile races with money on offer, then you’ll find a lot of rules and checking.
I do a race called KOA Sports League (Matthew Spooner too). Quite popular because of the live broadcast. They do background checks on your training peaks account.
Zwift Power is the go to place if you want information before, during, after events.
Use the Calendar to check the races available, those signed up into that event. Then during the race click on the LIVE tab and you can see the time splits between you and those others who are also on ZP. Handy because you don’t want to chase someone in race who’s not officially on ZP and result won’t count (whether they are cheating or not). ZP not as good as it used to be, so you may find nothing showing - hoping they’ll fix this.
After the race go in to ZP and see how you got on, compare your stats etc. All good
Obviously you have likes of Strava and Intervals.icu to check data too
You have open races (pens for cats, and mass start), chase/handicap races where the slower races start first with time gaps back to the A cat (The Chop being the big daddy of these). TT races iTT and TTT. Various rides - check the description first. Some include mini sprints and ‘after party’ (finish the ride with a mini race to the end). Unfortunately the Fence is still missing. A great feature that holds the ride together.
Biggest events are usually the Tour rides where you can go into the 000s

How did you do a race in meet-up. We organised one the other day using the banner segment splits to take pts for the race. There is finish line leaderboard in meet-up (yet)
I have my club initials in [] after my name. Just makes it easier to search for other people
