Xmas time at work

1985 for my exams which were O levels but I do remember something about 16+ exams.

It’s SFW. They set-up pop-up stores this time of year for gifting purposes. Not too late to get Mrs FP that Rick Astley one :upside_down_face:

Rocking the shorts and polo look myself today, can you believe I’ve actually got problems to sort on the last day :rage:

I’m guessing it’s nibbles and beer all day in Exeter?

Reckon I’m probably unique (here) as a 90s. Although technically not quite “gen Z” to believe I’m a special unique snowflake.

I’m in on Monday, so not last day yet. I’ve got my 1:1 with my boss this morning and then a team buffet in the afternoon in the office. We’re not very sociable so no beer. But i’m off out with my buddies in town tonight. So cue the standard 7km run home in the dark on the unlit cycleway!! haha

No Champagne for you academic socialists?

O Levels in 1983. I wasn’t in the last year to do them.

The academics probably do … i’m professional services innit. The poor, forgotten layer in the HE machine

Not at all; we’re all aware of the value business teams add to organisations. Particularly bureaucracy

Oh we have that in spades!!!

We’re all very agile these days.

That would probably miss the mark.

You’re talking about the same person that couldn’t understand why I was laughing when she said she worked with a guy called Tom Jones in Sydney.

Hyundai’s greatest hits calendar?

Yeah something like that. Thankfully she was never into K-pop.

Credit where it’s due though, the first gig we went to see together was TOOL, she said it was not what she was expecting but enjoyed it. :+1::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Haha, any duck ponds on the way home?

No, it’s dry all the way and traffic free. Though i always end up plastered in mud somehow!!

I have the girls on my own tomorrow morning as well … that’s not going to be great!
