I’ll set up a Zoom call instead for Thursday 7:40 if that works for everyone?.. I think it is likely to be much easier to hear, but let me know if that’s a problem, and we can stick with Discord instead.

We can keep it audio if preferred, and look towards video down the line when we’re a bit more organised

Zoom sounds good

I’m happy with zoom. Will have it on behind Zwift so no visual anyway.

If you pedal backwards from 30 seconds to banner drop it should keep them activated and talking to laptop

zoom is great for zwift. i use it to get others on my stream. remember you only get 40min for one call if 3+ participants. So unless you have paid for unlimited, youll need to start a new call and send link to all in-game. Faff when youre riding.
Id like to get you all on a stream with the zwift game window (a panoramic shifting cam view), if someone has unlimited as host.

I’m A+ though, like Matt, so not sure I can ride without putting you in a higher league? Wouldnt be worth me joining you.

I’ve got a subscription, so no 40 min limit

For results you’d go in espresso but don’t need to change the pen you start in.

We have an A+ rider but if went in espresso we’d spent the entire time being ridden over so enter pen according to ability of others who are available.

Shouldn’t we stick to the w/kg power goal, be it on the flat or a hill?

I was on the rivet from the off last week so any major power spike on the climbs will spit me out of the back, although I did manage to recover in ‘the tuck’ at 55kph+ while everyone else was pedaling (the only bonus of being heavy).

I’m happy to give what I can until I get dropped but we only have 4 at the moment so not great to lose 1 on the first climb.

If you find people are getting shelled on the climbs - maybe agree to ride the downhills sub 2 w/kg or soft pedal until everyone’s back on
