Some American crap. But it was down from £4.50 in co-op to 80p!

80p! Can’t argue with that.

I checked my blood pressure for the first time since October and unfortunately that is now into hypertension territory again, so a good time to shift off heavy weights and into endurance and fat loss.

Two pints of cider last night too, faster running ( for me) is certainly easier at 11 stone

Taking three blood pressure measurements at a time now, the first always seems to be hypertensive, the second two back to my usual borderline. Will continue monitoring before reaching out to the GP.

Down to 70.5, still quite a way to go. I have done a fair bit more exercising this month and although I aggravated my knee injury mid-month. That reduced my running but it feels a lot better now so hopefully can build the runiing more in April. Still the best March for training hours I have had for years.

100.1kg (back over 100kg for first time since middle of Jan)
Had a bit of a weird week, partner’s birthday on Tuesday so big take-away as can’t go out for her 2nd birthday running.
Had hospital appointment Wednesday to check my gammy toe for melanoma, thankfully that’s not the case and they think it’s just sub-dermal haematomas form the fact that it’s wonky at the best of times (I won’t subject you to a picture)
Still can’t run due to calf but it’s all excuses really as nothing stopping me cycling and walking more.
Hopefully light nights and a bit of warmer weather will allow me to rediscover my mojo.

Back to Xmas weight of 95kg :triumph:

Made a little progress in the New Year, but has now all crept back on. Beer n biscuits :pig: Calf injury has scuppered 5 weeks of running, compounded by chest infection last fortnight :violin: Feels like that is starting to lift and today marks a return to exercise following complete rest last week. Running makes the biggest difference… plus my primary goal in SDW100 in June!

Weight is all relative… 95kg at 195cm tall (just shy of 6"5). I operate best around 90kg with target race weight 88kg. I won’t be chasing that this summer, but the closer I get, the better I’ll feel

12 st 12.4 lbs / 81.8 kg

Gain in the month = 4.4 lbs / 2.0kg.

Rubbish training this month, with my diet being even worse.
(E.g. BBQ & Beer on 30th, then Takeaway Curry & Beer on 31st.)

Let’s see if I can train more and eat/drink less this month.

Cheers, Paul.

Jumped on the scales for the first time in quite a while. 76 on the nose. If I actually knuckled down, I could probably drop a couple quite easily. Must resist the haribo!

Despite running a ton and doing some yard work at Mum’s, I’m back up to 89.8 kgs.

79.5kg, no change over the last few weeks

Hovering at 85kg - not what I was expecting with the switch from strength focus to endurance, and adding 3hrs more training per week…patience I guess.

Checking back in. Weight gain continued its upwards trajectory, peaking at 96.8kg 1st April (…what a fool!)

Two solid weeks on return to training (10hrs+), accepting it’ll feel hard until I manage to shed a couple of kg’s. Disciplined on the beer front since the start of the month and just dipped under 96kg this morning :+1:

69.5 kg.

Finished a set of nights at a very low weight, did the fasting thing and still managed to get a bit of training done.

Onwards !
