2021 - The Weigh In Thread

69.7kg. Diet has been a bit up and down but managed to keep chipping away. Good to get back under 70.

Ambiguous in the context of this thread :fries:

68.1 going in the right direction, steady away

70.8 kg - that is 3.8kg down since 1st of Jan and headed for target 69.x for UTMB at the end of August :grinning:

20th May: 83.3kg

Opps! Been feeling a bit sorry myself this week, tweaked my achillies last Wednesday (running my fastest 5k in yonks), started feeling under the weather on Friday and had my first jab on Monday. I’ve not exercised at all and eaten awfully. I even ordered home delivery desserts!

Hopefully this will be a kick up the backside.

70.1.

Bit of wine and cider, chocolate and crap food.

Just volume.

I cannot stop eating at the mo. My appetite is nigh on insatiable.

It’s like as soon as my training goes up, the stomach says “f*ck yeah, it’s party time people!”

Mixing my units, but just seen sub-13 stone on the scales for the first time in a while. Thinking that 11 and a half would be the target, with ideal race weight at 11.

Not overly shocked to now be 83kg as I have zero interest in eating well at the minute, that carrot of being in the 70’s seems a long way off right now…

I do find mentally, when the weather gets cold/wet/grey/rainy/shite/all of the above, my body says “help, more fat required, more fat required, more f…”, I find that a challenge.

Still 83kg, birthday this week hasn’t helped with beer and cake in copious amounts

I am below 70kg for the first time in ages. Albeit I am eating loads ATM. I am training consistently more over the last 4-5 weeks and weight dropping slightly. I always find when I train more I am often really hungry for the first weeks then it settles down and if I have weight to lose it starts to come off again.

Came close to ordering a couple of takeaways but resisted.

01/06/21 – 5’ 7" / 1.7m

12 st 12.4 lbs / 82.2 kg

A marginal loss in the month of 0.8 lbs / 0.4kg, back to where I was 01/04/21.

A fair reflection, as last week included 2 x takeaway pizzas, 1 pub lunch & 1 BBQ. :astonished:

What the scales are not showing is a marginally better distribution of my weight.

Both my jeans and shorts with 36” waists are now slipping down as I walk. :sunglasses:

At my heaviest, these cut into my body, as I refused to buy anything with a 38” waist.

I am planning to detox from crisps & chocolate in June.
(In order to break my bad snacking habits associated with WFH.)

Plus, I hope to build on my May training, which was much better than March & April.

Cheers, Paul.

72kg - up

A week of walking holiday carrying a 20kg pack doesn’t seem to have offset a week of eating a and drinking a lot in the evening
