2021 - The Weigh In Thread

Down to 85.7kg, slow progress but progress is progress! Starting logging food in MFP, really is a bit of an eye opener how easy it is to rack up some serious numbers!

Struggling to think what would make a cow your favourite!?:grinning::thinking:

Seems udderly daft to me

She was the cream of the crop

Ah the value of tracking ones eating . I’ve never seen such a rapid reponse…!

78.9 kg this morning, 3kg off since new year.

Only another 6.9 to go.

Also tracking my food, really working for me.

Start of the month 74.6.

This morning pre 15 mile run (with 10km cross country) 73 kg

Happy with that for end of January

Post run was 71.9kg - need to improve my hydration

Can be faffed with food tracking on myfitnesspal but better concentration on eating healthier

Dry January successfully navigated - might carry on as definitely seems to be contributing to weight loss

So let’s imagine you did it reasonably hard so you burnt a fair bit of glycogen, not all of it, but let’s say 300kcals, 1g/kcal, that’s 300g, and another 900g of water, and you’d still need a few more grams of fat gone. Actually sounds like a pretty good hydration strategy for the run to me, unless it was super, super easy.

Yesterday was super easy with Mrs T and the dog on the exact same route - today was 48 mins faster and was hard going for the last 10km when I was pushing hard - my fastest run on that route probably for quite a few years.

01/02/21 – 12 st 10.2 lbs / 80.8 kg

Reduction in the month = 3.4lb / 1.5kg.

Total reduction = 26.4lb / 12kg since my heaviest point on 01/01/19.

The good news is that this is my lowest weight for years. :sunglasses:

The slightly frustrating news is it could have been marginally better.
(As too much work >> too little exercise >> bad snacking habits.)

Still, I’m going to stress the positives and see what February brings.

Cheers,

Paul.

Pleasantly surprised as haven’t done any training since Wednesday and thought it might go back up (even back over 100kg, which would have been quite a blow)

We need height with these!

80kg at 190cm is massively different to 80kg at 160cm.

Moi? 185cm here.

I’m akin to Jorgan’s fave avatar at the minute - either the Dodgeball guy or the Austin Powers chicken wing guy.

Got down to 76kg in 2019 (from about 92kg)
Maintained around 77-78kg for most of 2019 into early 2020, got down to about 74-75kg after a solid month of living on my bike whilst on furlough then I started work full time again for the first time in a year and autumn/winter happened at the same time.

I’d not lost any to go into “racing” weight, it just crept up and up and up - topped the scales at 87kg, down to 83kg now.
