First Outlaw 2010 was £170, if my memory serves correct?
Meaning it should be about £235 now, to account for inflation.
But it isn’t 
Well it sells out every year so why would they price it at £235?
And I think most of their costs have gone up above inflation. Venue hire, police cover, insurance. Inflation is kept low by imported electrical tat reducing in cost, doesn’t apply to the service industry like this.

Entered Outlaw half Notts and full. With that and my car service those assiomas will have to wait a bit longer.

IM are much more expensive, but when you realise the utter ballache, costs, hassle and extra requirements in marshalls etc of offering fully closed roads then it is a bit more understandable.

bloody bargain really as even IM events then were coming in over £300
I did Hever castle 70.3 for £185 in 2018
100km Centurion tri in Welwyn was £75 last year
‘Bargain’ races but still expensive compared to running.

I can’t remember how much the first Outlaw was because I entered from Oz, so it would have depended on the exch rate. I do remember it being cheap.

The other way of looking at it…both Outlaw full and half are expensive compared to other open road races. They are lucky that they are always compared to IM - which is closed road - and not other open road races.

Pretty sure it was closed roads in most parts this year?
Only car bit I recall was that stretch of road joining the loops

I paid 400 for 2020, got in on first tier though, my refund was 432quid the other week (as i got the active fee back also)

Oohh could be tempted by that. Just for nostalgia, if nothing else. Run will be pan flat seafront. Guess they’d swim at Langland or Caswell. It’ll be a lumpy bike though.
