2022 races

I’ve just joined a local running club and they’re putting together a few teams for it. Quite tempted to get involved.

This will be my 4th attempt at the 24hr solo… its a brilliant event, with a really great atmosphere!

The run through dawn with the castle lit up, across the stone bridge over the lake while the dawn chorus kicks in is very very special.

If I had a YouTube channel it would be called something like The ‘Unnatural Runner’ or something equally crap. For an activity that’s meant to be as easy as one foot in front of the other I find it terribly difficult. So my 2022 races are all running. Obviously.

March. Inverness half.
May. Loch Ness 360 Trail Ultra (3 marathons in 3 days option)
July. Race to the Stones
October. Loch Ness Marathon

Race to the Stones is one of my favourite races - did it last year with my son (beat me by an hour )

Yeah, it’s a great event. I’ve helped out at the pitstops before, the team that brings it all together are fab. I think this will be my 2020 entry rolled over so looking forward to finally doing it.

Guess this means I’m in and could have jogged round Manchester a few weeks ago :grimacing:

My time has been verified, @stenard FYI

I’m still pending, although if there’s no cut off, were something to go awry during initial verification then I should at least now have time to resolve before my place gets allocated to someone else.

Malaga was an IAAF Road Race Bronze label marathon, with a pro field, so I really can’t see how it could not meet criteria!

Excellent news :clap:t2:

My time was showing as verified last night but still said subject to cutoffs. Obviously their media announcements are ahead of their IT systems.

I’m reasonably sure it’s just a matter of time for you and maybe because it was longer ago.

I saw that Swansea 70.3 has sold out already!

2023 World Grand Finals for Elite and Age Group - Pontevedra. Great choice and hope to be there - loved the 10 days we had there for the Multisports Champs in 2019

Few of those on my radar too.

Would be good to put a face (and real name) to our TT pseudonyms.
