I’ve always felt hotter without a shirt, even in Oz

I think you have to sign up to the ‘Premium Service’ for that.

If its warm and the sun is out I do pretty regularly. One less sweaty t shirt to wash and even out those t shirt/vest tan lines. Sitting about 72-73kg at the moment.

Ran round some of Rome the other month shirtless and I got SOO many stares much more than when I was running along the water front shirtless in Salvador, Brazil and was quite clearly the only gringo about for miles. The bright pink shorts probably don’t help matters…

Not meant as a humble brag.

Ah, I think you’re okay bragging about your shorts here.

After the 90min bike run this morning, and drinking a litre of water, I was still at least 1kg lighter on the scales. Amazing how much the weather affects me/us…but it was still nice to see 85 on the scales for the first time in a long time anyways.

I’ve blown out to 88.4! I can feel it in my clothes and feel pretty ashamed. Definitely over indulged post E24.

I have a big race on Oct 7th, so setting a goal to be under 85 for that and move toward Xmas with 80kg in mind.

Sure gets harder as you get older!

A couple of weeks after Cotswold now, a week or so of recovery and eat what I like, now back into light training, will hopefully ramp that back up a bit over the next week, so stepped back onto the scales and I’m pleased to be at 76Kg, that’s about 5Kg down from the start of 2022. Will try and drop another 3 or 4 Kg in time for a HM (sub 90 attempt) in September.

131.2kg. Just under 11kg lost this year so far.

Really want to push hard over the summer and shed another 6-7 kg in short order.

Consistently hitting under 72kg on the scales this week

Happy with that as not had the normal volumes of training over the last 3 months

Wow - 11 bags of sugar. That’s fairly nuts

Are you at a point yet where you’re doing some long rides etc - burn :fire: some mega calories or are you leaving that for a bit longer?…

Thanks. If id cut the booze i would have lost even more. Thats what Im going to do for the next month or so.

Mostly its been eating a bit better. Salads for lunch and healither dinners no big bars of chocolate.

One thing i think makes a big difference is 12,000 steps minimum a day. With my massive strides thats about 11km. Its increasing my daily calories by about 1000 and is low impact. Plus i get the bulk walking the dog which needs doing anyway. Its a good job we have a fit and energetic dog because often the wife takes her a 2nd time time to get her steps up.

You’re not that far from my mum and dad’s neck of the woods. Hop skip and a jump past Stowe. Some great cycling to be had around these parts
