198cm, 104kg yesterday.
Only a few kg off the heaviest I’ve ever been, and definitely the least fit I’ve been since I was a teenager.
2022 can do one.
Goal: back down to mid 90s, 400+ FTP, learn how to run.

You’ve been a regular on my Strava feed more recently though!
Yeah trying to do something everyday, even if its just a 30 min pootle on Zwift.
Also been making sure to get 10k steps a day.
Steps/walking is great for weight loss
Then why am I still a far arse?
Get yourself over to Rimmer’s gaff in the alps,
Yeah I found that last year when I was really really fat. Can burn a good chunk of clas without knackering myself.
I get a daily email from Arnold Schwazenegger, its a health and wellness thing and that was talking about how beneficial walking is for overall health. People who doing hardly any if they increased their steps to 7-9k they reduce all cause mortality by 40%. Dog needs walking anyway so its good all round. Plus my wife WFH more now and we can go together.
I swear last time I went there I put on half a stone. Haven’t been to the new one, mind, six floors of bloody steps.
Tempted by a move out there, it’s bloody heavenly
105.2kg & 30.8% - pretty decent week for exercise (still a bit wheezy from the Rona) so nothing special but diet wasn’t great (still finishing off some Christmas goodies that I normally try and get out of the way before New Year).
Gains come easily at the start, will need to be much stricter going forward.
89.4 for me, work to do!
Moving forward, good effort.
Also still struggling with the post Rona’ symptoms, still have a mild dry cough and my lung capacity seems down.
Doc told me that the lung irritation is a good sign of healing/regeneration, but that could have been doctor code for piss off and stop bothering me.
This is exactly how I feel now, cough has pretty much gone but it’s like there’s a hard ceiling on my oxygen intake.
Ran (debatable?) 10k on Saturday morning and could shuffle along Ok below that ceiling but even the slightest incline (like locks on the canal) left me wheezing for the next half a mile. Same at swimming Saturday evening, could cruise along steady but no option to speed up.
71.2 - down from 72 but the weight of course does fluctuate day to day to not getting too excited
No booze
No choc
Just had a hit cross bun though
Does it have extra protein?
6Km run with the last minute as a sprint to hopefully produce a calorie afterburn followed by throwing a 9Kg ball into the air 55 times.
(That’ll hopefully progress the weight loss - trying to make it seem that I didn’t post this in the wrong thread!)
Down to 76kg. Stressy work stuff helping to knock off a few kgs.
why am i heavier now than after a xmas of beer ,food & less training ???
