2023 Weigh-in Thread

105.2kg & 30.7%
Done a decent amount of training this week but diet has been crap. Been too complacent, thinking weight falls off first few weeks which clearly isn’t the case. Need a super strict week to get back on track, son is going away mid week which will help as I can just do my own thing.

90.0, gone up again!

I had a stint at looking at BF, went on the scales at the gym & at home, got proffesionally measured with calipers & bought my own calipers.
My conclusion was that the most reliable/affordable method is looking at yourself in the mirror & comparing to online picture standards.

92.5 this morning, slow progress, but that’s what I am aiming for, work stress isn’t helping.

Need better weather to get some longer rides in, can’t stomach much more that 45 minutes at a time indoors.

98.2kg, but i didn’t have my morning sh1t first so probably about the same. I have eaten like crap for a week and not trained much, no running as of a morning my chest been shoddy and I get lazy as the day wears on, I’m a morning runner. I swam twice which left me ravenous after for limited calorie burn and ended up eating way more than i should

Is that some new kind of diet?

No change this week. Diet shocking, exercise middling. Could be worse at least I didn’t put any back on

One of my weight lifting friends says I’ve turned myself back into a snack head !

As long as the long term trend is downward then you are winning.

105.6kg & 31% this morning.
I appear to be the poster boy for “you can’t out-train a bad diet”
Another good week of exercise but gained weight, need a really strict week this week to start making some progress before I get completely demoralised and throw the towel in.
Weight usually drops off in January then gets harder as the year goes on but not this time.

89.0 for me. I’m going nowhere. I notice my intake barely changes on low or no training days.

Not sure how the app/scales figure all this out

Which scales do you have @tunster ?

3 weeks in a 1KG lost now down to 67.2 KG. I forgot to state that I am 1.79m tall and built like a rake
