There were sections like that on the Blaenvaon Tri; so steep, narrow and crappy, if you met a car coming down you were never getting going again. I was lucky on the day.

Yeah, this was New Road, Draycott.

So many good hills around there. Up Greenhow from Pateley Bridge is a beaut

I wonder if there’s a chance of any surf there?

Bastardos :face_with_symbols_over_mouth::rage:

Doesn’t look like I’ll be 2nd overall at Southport again :sob:
Was looking to improve on that next year :joy:
Might do the Oly :wink:

I’m tempted but some heavy hitters in my AG including AG Superstar Donald Brooks. Next year’s priority will be the Euro qualifiers as I age up in 2025.

He lives in Torquay area. An enemy to the Janners surely! :joy:

You have to be on something to put up with living there. Cased closed.

He won all of the AG world and Euro events and then won IM 70.3 and IM champs Nice 45-49 as well.

If it’s any consolation, he looks older than you.

That’s what I thought last year when I was 2nd to him at the British du champs. I thought he was the AG above.

Entered my first race for next year, the Outlaw Aquathlon, which doubles up as the English Champs.

Quite like what they are doing, diversifying their events to appeal to a really broad audience.
