Bike Candy (or not!)

Yup!!!
Me too. And Ribble.

I’ve been watching eBay, too, but there’s little to no saving over a sale frame or RRP (maybe £300 cheaper, and when spending £800 on an eBay frame, I’d probably just pay the extra for new)

Chatting to a pal who owns a Lynskey Helix - he loves it. One of the reasons he got it was potential resale value if he didn’t like the Ti.
Ride a Ti bike for a couple of years and take care of it, then the value drop of it isn’t going to be huge.

I’ll take any excuse to post a pic of my Lynskey Helix

Nice, looks like you’re just outside the winner’s enclosure

That’s a quality build

Nice, does the downtube actually have a twist in it? Or is it the graphics giving that impression?

The PX/Sonder frame options are 12/1300 sponds, something I could probably slip by her indoors without issue.

However what I actually want is the Enigma Etape, which is 2300, not so easy to ‘Creatively amortise.’

Titanium bikes are beautiful, and they also stand up all by themselves, you don’t have to lean them on anything.

ANOTHER club mate has one of those…which he keeps immaculate.
They are stunning :clap:t3:

Yup, it has a gentle twist. I’m doubtful there’s any functional reason for it but it looks lush!

Love my Enigma but thinking of updating it to an Etape.

I have 2, and Mrs FB has one - both of us have an Omega Alchemy (a precursor from Mark Reilly to the Enigma brand run by Jim Walker), and I have an Enigma EVO MTB (they didn’t make many).

fucking love Ti me

Another Ti fetishist here:
Van Nicholas Euros for road duties, Litespeed Blade for TT and Dialled Bikes Kobe Ti for MTB.
Ps. Be very careful if you Google that last one, especially at work :smirk:

The Tron bike is real. Just needs some leds in the wheels

The chap sounds extremely talented. How on earth do you go about making your own derailleurs? And a floating chain line to keep a straight chain line?! It’s almost like he was wasted as a cyclist, he should have been a designer for one of the big bike brands!

go on - you know you want to build it (watch the video)

Under no circumstances assume the tuck position with your stomach on the saddle and ar5e off the back!

yeh - kind of surprised he didn’t put some protective guards on it but that would just ruin the concept and looks I guess.

New Felt spotted under Ryf, nicked from ST, but what the actual F*** is going on with that top tube :face_vomiting:

That’s hideous.
Top tube is probably an integrated storage thing
