Never mind 1000w, I can’t imagine it surviving a wet ride if their jockey wheels and bottom brackets are anything to go by.
Some kind of belt-drive with a hub gear seems more likely?
Or a bottom bracket gearbox, a la E-bikes (I think I saw that Shimano patented something like that recently?)
That would make a lot more sense, there’s a lot of space around the BB shell and it would put weight in the right place. Get it made!
edit: oh wait, would this mean yet another BB standard and crank compatibility issue?
And Di2
That really did make me lol
I bet there’s some vertical compliance in that frame!
I bet the dentist wife was happy with that bike
Looks like a shop selling wheels on Ride to Work scheme!
Bet that chain cover is aero
Think of all the nutrition you could store on that rear pannier too
New Scott Plasma - brakes on extensions, discuss!

accident waiting to happen. how many descend on tribars unless it’s in a straight line and brakes aren’t needed to hand??? fine for flat TT courses but I would think pretty crap for your average road route
It looks very uncomfortable
Agreed. You’re not playing with a full set of cards if you think that’s a great idea
You could fit mudguards on the front of that
Daren’t look at the cost.
Brake levers out on the extensions
That’s the first time I’ve looked at ST in months.
I’ve dropped in from time to time but there’s really been nothing of interest. Without any races to pontificate about they don’t appear to have anything else going on. Unlikely here where we’ll talk about any old sh1t.
