Compared to most TT bikes that is ,to my eyes, gorgeous.
If I get an e-bike, that is how I want it to look. 600W motor hidden erm anywhere you bloody well want, room to store lots and lots of extra batteries (and quite possibly a tent) plus I’ll only feel comfortable on it going directly uphill, preferably at a gradient of >3%. Downhill I think I’m likely to fall straight down the bike and get run over by it…
Oh…and can I have it in full Celeste colourway please, as I don’t think it’s quite eye-catching enough…
I think it looks grand. And I suck for not being there. I’d taken the front reservoir off of my cervelo too, so great minds…think less aerodynamically I guess.
That sure is a long ass valve on the front. Nowt you can do about that, but are you supposed to have a hole in the disc in the rear? Surely that’s not helpful? Bit of electrical tape? Duh, poet said that.
And…
You’re getting rid of the rear light, or is that a beacon to guide mungo2 to catch you?
Can’t believe it took so long for the garden commentary!!
Thought Matt meant the frame
Disk is getting taped in the morrow
The pit stop fits in but will rattle
Blah to the rest deffo needs jetwashing again but not doing it at the time of year.
Tell you what, number of garmins lost to dodgy mounts= many. Number lost zip tied to frame=bugger all. Probably. More power to your elbow…and legs, natch.
The new Scott Plasma is similar. Apparently having it close only works when the front wheel is perfectly straight, which it vary rarely is even on a straight road.
it’s similar in concept to the new GB squad track bike designed by Hope and Lotus which also has that wide fork concept. the idea is to deflect oncoming air around a rider’s legs so making it more aero - no doubt influenced by wind tunnel studies. still, that Ku bike is one fugly one!
