I think it’s usually £8/month iirc. Don’t think they include membership in goggle cost anymore so maybe worth it if they don’t die a death in two years.
It’s the 25% buyer premier and 20% VAT added to the “hammer price” where they get you.
Wasn’t sure quite where to post this but I guess this thread was the closest.
We’re having a clear out at home and have the following looking for a new home(s)
2 pairs of Apple earbuds (wired) - never used
1 pair of Jabra Elite 3 earbuds - I have used these but not much as they really don’t stay in my mangled rugby player’s ears!
The vests and buffs are down to a pound each, so within my ‘budget’ . I’ll just have to put up with people asking what it’s like being on the Team, whilst it’s a pain being driven around Europe in the Team bus I lessen the load by bathing in champagne.
More useful men’s stuff is all out of stock though.
Oh I’m also a pretend TO now given the TO showerproof jacket was only a tenner. I’m happy to make up technical advice whenever challenged…no change there then.
Surprised they’re offering that kit to all and sundry! Anyway - thanks for the heads up as we’ve grabbed a TO jacket each and TO t-shirts which are being given away!
Vests, buffs and jacket arrived ![]()
Pretty good quality actually, my hopes weren’t high. Large GBR vests a bit tight round my belly but the large Jacket is massive
. The difference between athletes and officials maybe ![]()
The shirts with a collar were a shocker so I only use the descente ones. New kit provider should be announced in a day or so according to the Facebook chats
Do you know if the old kit will be allowed or will team athletes need to buy the new version?
There’s usually a transition period between kit rebrands so current kit is likely to be allowable until the end of 2026 - but that is down to the BTF and WT
Cheap packaged sugar + caffeine: £6 for 20, +P&P. Dunno what they taste like. There’s a few flavours.
Evans | BeElite Caffeine Energy Gels (20 x 38g) | Gels | SportsDirect.com
Vile!!
The non caffeine ones are alright (infact I quite like the lemon and lime ones) - but Ive had both the cola and Cirtus caffeine and Ive not used them unless I’ve ran out of anything else - really not nice.
LOL I better take them out of my Sports Direct basket then!
Ideally I’d like to find some deeply discounted Cliffbloks somewhere. Yum.
Might be worth checking here - cliff - Nutricircle
I’ve used these guys for bulk buying of Clif bars. Yum
Some good deals there, ta!
Long run this morning so had a packet of the orange chews that many of us bought back in July. Well past their best before date but good enough for me. Tasted a bit like orange jelly. They’ll do.
Seeking TT wisdom. Via Mrs FP’s work, a gym is getting rid of their treadmills ahead of brand new ones coming. This was the link in the mail to the model.
All serviced last year apparently. They want £400. It’s not a brand I’ve come across but have been think of doing ‘something’ along these lines.
Any good?
Sorry not one I have heard of
As a long term investment I would only buy a
“ commercial “ t mill.
Can’t really tell if that is sturdy or robust enough to last, virtually everyone I know who had/ has a home treadmill ( non commercial ) gave up after several breaks / not working/ control unit etc.
There is probably someone on here who may have had: has one?
The ones I use would need a big van and four guys to move I’d only get something like that.
Thanks. Yes I was hoping it would be something I’d heard of. On the one had, £400 isn’t much, even if lasts a year but the footprint is a lot of real estate to give up if it became a white elephant.
I am a member of my work gym but only go to the office once or twice a week and can’t always make the time.
Might just get friendly with the urbo again for cross training.
