Seems you have to spend a lot to get something half decent.

Don’t know the brand, but sounds a good deal I’d just find out about the cost of parts and service.
Treadmills seem to be something there’s no reliable information or reviews on.

Because there is something called “the road” where you can jog for free?
(Saying this, my wife would like a treadmill … and I’d also use it )
It’s great at this time of the year (more to avoid slippery conditions than rain).
I also use it for structured workouts. Far easier to do an interval session than constantly staring at your watch outside.
And we don’t need to worry, as we’re built AF…
… but for those less fortunate the whole thing about running safely in the dark, etc.
Variety/spice/life…
I don’t use mine loads, but I’d still recommend a Branx treadmill.
Decent motor, nice sized belt , customer support the one time I needed it was superb.
It’s not commercial, but I think it’s a good middle ground (and in that aspect fairly unique).
Elite runner pro model same cost now as what I paid few years ago.
Tip off from Daz, Aldi Crane running vest, basic but only £4, cheaper than a Starbucks and almost disposable if you don’t tell Greta
And actually worth it? Doesn’t jump around/disintegrate instantly?
Haven’t had chance to use it yet, the S\M felt too tight for me but the M\L is a decent fit, my current Duro is terrible for moving around, first impressions are it isn’t as bad.
It feels better made than I expected but don’t expect it to take years of punishment like my original duro.
But this is more a lightweight vest than a pack like they are, enough room for a jacket and a few emergency things with some front storage for bottles and food. Maybe a summer trail run if you need minimal kit but some fluids.
Probably won’t get chance to try it for at least a week as this weekend requires full kit.

That’s a bit of a bargain isn’t it?
I’m in. Thanks!
If anyone uses Riemann P20 sunsplat, it’s got 33% off in Boots.
I use it for racing so bought a bottle of factor 50.
ooh thanks, that’s my go to product.
Anyone heard of wheeltop groupsets, currently 660 euros for an electronic wireless basic groupset, I suspect it’s compatible with various cassettes etc. and I think they bought Rotor recently. Not sure what aftersales would be like though as the European site seems to be in France.
Gravel and MTB options and other components as well. Probably give 107 a run for it’s money, but that is usually very good stuff.
WHEELTOP EDS TX Wireless Carbon Electronic Shifter/Derailleur (Road Bike)
I agree.
There are literally about 2 days a year when you cant run outside here, and even then you can drive to a trail or field and run in the snow.
I don’t get it. I also get injured running on a treadmill (I know im an outlier regarding this) because its not natural to me.
What’s the cheapest deal on energy gels at the moment?
Is it still High5 and their usual website discount?
Strangley High5 is one of the worst places to buy High5 products from, even with 25% discount codes they give to clubs… I swear they put 40% on their website to give clubs the 20 or 25% code. Ive never used our club code as even with it Id be paying 15 - 20% more.
As long as you dont mind using Amazon you can usually find someone doing 50-70% off.
Same for running websites that have shorter date stock. B&M, Home Bargins, Lidl et al. sometimes have them for about 70p a gel.
Ive been buying boxes of 20 for £12 - £14 (last order was £13.25, the one before that £12.75)
They are £25.99 on High 5 site, £28.99 for caffine ones, total rip off even with the local Tri clubs 25% discount code which is still £19.45 so over a fiver more than Amazon
I’ve been using some out of date high 5 gels the last couple of long runs I’ve done and they’ve been good. Stuck a couple of 2023 vintage in a bottle and topped with water a couple of days ago. I’ve also got some old Wiggle cola caffeine gels that I’m trying to use up.
I did however throw a gel in the bin the other day as it was 2022 and even I thought that was a bit much.
Lol.
I put mine in old to new date order when I was doing lots of events and coming home with more than I went with, I was also mainly using mix so they were going out of date.
In just bike events I use almost exclusively Maltodextrin in a litre bottle, but still pick up gels for when back home running.
