Sounds similar to my wife and I as well. She’s convinced that she can smell when someone is getting ill from so much as the glass that they’re drinking from!

My sense of smell is poor … but my stomach is very strong, so i very rarely suffer any food based issues regardless of how manky it is!

Lidl cycling gear in from next Thursday. Google suggests the bike stand for £20 is actually sturdy enough.

I’ve had a Lidl stand for coming up to ten years - absolutely fine!

Aye.

I’ve never owned a bike stand.
Seems like I now might be able to.

Do Lidl sell …
Gp 5000 tyres ( 14 doesn’t quite seem enough !)
Those usb charger mini pump thingys
Black and gold bottle cages to match my Orro
Dash 9 saddle ( road version ) as above
Black and gold bottles ? ( bit gay i know )
Anyone who is actually gay … have you got any black and gold bottles for sale ?

You know what, I’m also on the hunt for a matte black and gold lettered BMC something or other :joy:

Elite Custom RacePlus bottle cages come in black and gold.

Elite Fly 550ml bottles are the lightest I’ve found. They come in all sorts of colours.

Why is this ‘gay’?

Black and gold bike you say? Logos, tape, cages, disk brake lock rings, valves, jockey wheels, and most of the bolts all gold. I’m a reet poseur . I have gold Camelbak bottles but they’re too much, you can go too far…

They’re Cinelli Mike Giant cages. Unfortunately a bit pricey: Bezza’s tat bazaar

With matching tape.

The cages are a bit loose to be honest. I’ve not launched a bottle, but if I had a do-over I’d just buy Arundel Mandible cages once again, which are the best carbon cages in the world. And then doodle on them with a gold paint pen!

Good advice I’ve found two
Xxx bontrager cages in my spares bin
Nowt to em …
Super duper light but I’m not sure if they keep hold of bottles too well

Gold pen might be a good call?

Cheers
