Two plain grey T-shirts £15 at Next. Nice to have mostly cotton ones that fit. :slightly_smiling_face:

They seem to be £25 now, so I bought a Lidl bike workstand. Not as sturdy as the Parktool ones I’ve used elsewhere, but pretty solid.

Have Lidl got any of those usb pump things ?

I didn’t see any, they have a cheap track pump, no idea if it is any good

Following up this exciting news with my first pair of real loafers! And my first pair of black work shoes in many moons.

Was it a deal? Loakes discounted from somewhere over £200 to £79.50. I hope so and hopefully the last pair of formal shoes I’ll ever buy.

Walked 200m to the pub. Blistering already

I first saw this image here at TT and it still makes me chuckle. So here it is again.

When started work in risk and compliance my old boss told me “never trust a man in slip on shoes”. I have no idea why but I have lived by that code for close on 30 years

I take issue with the implication that I may not be shaving my legs.

And now is your opportunity to reaffirm that principle!

Sorry, bad joke, (I’ll need XXL after my holiday) love you really, just like a cheap joke.

Did you enter the Classic? Asked before not sure if I got an answer.

No, afraid not :frowning:. But rooting for you and the others :flexed_biceps:

Asked… because It would have been lovely to meet you and be on course together.

We’ve had some great online conversations TrainerRoad and here.

Good job you’re not France! They’ve just passed a bill to limit/tax fast fashion like shein temu etc! :joy:

Actually the shorts and shirt are okay for holiday :ok_hand:
Just might forget to pack them for the return flight, although if they last the holiday… could be a winter fancy dress?

Except none of it is cotton - so if you’re going somewhere hot and sunny it’s horrible material to wear.

You raise a good point tbf.

Aircon to the rescue.

No event shirts during the day either IM, Outlaw, Manchester Marathon etc. They are normally nasty nylon, although recently better.

Plenty of performance tops for the day… always makes me chuckle, I am comfortable and they are okay during the day, fastion front… comfortable / practical trumps fashion :ok_hand:
