Or they’ve got remaining credit with those suppliers and items on back order.
Is it potentially more of a case of stuff coming back in via returns?
Effectively wiggle is now a different legal entity, so all of the existing sales agreements would have been re-written.
So stricter retention of title clauses and consignment stock agreements would be in place to mitigate further losses.
Many of these companies would have had massive stock orders already in transit, so they have to shift it somewhere. Garmin for example have huge lead times for supply.
There is also the option for dropship style agreements, wiggle do the selling but the order is fulfilled from the supplier company warehouses. But you would need a solid CRM solution to get this to work efficiently, I happen to know that they don’t have one.
…… so do I buy those hugely reduced 60 mm carbon wheels?
Look good?!
But will they arrive?
I have a pair bought in December, go for it.
Just make sure you order on credit card! Although is that £100 minimum for protection I think.
Don’t have one !
I’ll see if Doris has one !
At that price why wouldn’t you mum only getting the front
Where that gets complicated is unused credit notes or retrospective reconciliations. That will erode goodwill faster than a mate asking you to help them move house.
Found my gift card from my hard earned victory at Oulton!
I’m crap at tech
Only took me three goes !
Good reviews on these, hope they turn up!
Bloody hell, that’s cheap.
Pity I don’t need anything!
I had those in my basket from a couple of weeks ago but I never checked out. They’ve come down another £-10 since then.
Nice spot - thanks for sharing. I just ordered a pair. They only had the slim pad ones in my size but I’m sure they’ll be just fine. Just for turbo use.
I could only get wide pad in medium.
At that money see what turns up ?!
I’ve just spent 65 quid on all sorts of crap, I used a credit card for that … just in case.
Ordered those bibs, a helmet, and gabba jersey. Ordered Thursday, delivered Saturday by Evri. Can’t complain
(To a UK address. All international sales stopped when they went into administration)
Crazily, last year I ordered a helmet and some lights from Wiggle & as £50+, got free delivery to this corner of the desert. There isn’t even a post service here. We don’t have letterboxes. A guy with a box turned up in a van about three days later and rang the doorbell, I happened to be in. Haribo too.
Probably why they’ve gone bust, thinking about it. Sorry.
Got the Endura Pro SL Bib Shorts delivered yesterday. For £19.99 they’re good. My only other bibshorts I’ve ever had are Assos ones that I’ve had over 10 years (and cost about £180!). The Enduras feel more like high waisted shorts with braces but I’m just going to wear them on the turbo. I went for size L and they’re pretty snug on the legs (more fat than muscle these days!).
Overall I’m happy with the purchase.
I bought two pairs and I’m pleased. I like the high waist, similar to Le Col, and narrow pad is nice and firm. I got XL and I’m a 34” waist and I’m glad I sized up. They’d have been very tight around my thighs in L I think. I was going to buy another two pairs and chuck out some old see through bibs, but sold out now.
ordered wife a zone 3 wetsuit £23 [Zone3 Azure 2.0 Wetsuit (Wiggle Exclusive)] ( don,t know why she hates open water ) .anyway turned within 2 days even if its only worn once seems VFM
Yeah I saw those great Zone 3 women’s wettie deals. I sent a pic round the local ladies OW swimming group and a couple of them leapt on the deal. My wife has one with azure blue cuffs and it’s a really nice wettie. At that price it’s a no brainer.
